You're saying Kiwi is a better Protoss than HuK because of the screddit tournament, while completely disregarding the fact that HuK beat him like every time in every major tournament they played, and has trained in a pro team environment for months since that?

I'm saying he has much more improved in my opinion when watching that tournament and watching huk's stream( I Watch it a lot ) and yeah maybe huk has a better PvP, wich I don't think so. But kiwi's PvZ and PvT are much more evolved than 2 base collosus.

If he would be willing to go, White-Ra would probably be the most deserving foreigner.

After reading most posts and watching all MLG, IEM, EG Master's cup, SC2reddit etc etc. There are players that definitely are better than others.

Watching the SC2Reddit Kiwikaki is obviously the best protoss up there at the moment. Even though White ra and minigun got higher. He showed way better mechanics, micro, strategies and games in general. He has impressed me way more than huk, socke, naniwa too.

I would put up QXC put apparently he can't due to study in spain so I think next player to be going to korea is BratOK. Showing great games in general with nice strategies. Watch this guy.

Next I was thinking about Tyler, again way better than huk in my opinion. But apparently he cannot go because he now has a wife. So I would definitely put Morrow 3nd to go showing he can play zerg at the SC2Reddit invitational. He has the mechanics and strategies to deal against the best NA and European players. He definitely can compete in korea. He just needs a good connection imo.

Fourth, I would of liked to put up Machine up there but after seeing him fail at minigun's 4gate or 3gate blink play which should be easily repulsed. The guy has awesome macro and micro but maybe his decision making isn't up there yet. I would suggest Sen. He showed he could compete in GSL season 3 but lost the Season 2 winner, IMNesta.(Great ZvZ serie btw) He has been in SC competition for a while he deserves it.

Other notable players I would have to put

EGMachine
EGIncontrol
mtwDimaga
Liquid'Huk

Naniwa defeated Morrow yesterday 3-0. I wouldn't base your opinion on one tournament where only 8 pro players participated.

(Naniwa is btw. also first on gosugamers.net ranking, first protoss on the TL database and first on world ladder)

It's only an example, I also don't think that Kiwi is better than Huk, White-Ra, Socke and Mana.

1) Sjow - strongest macro terran
2) Brat_OK - drop king and good micro/macro
3) HuK - just best protoss
hard to think... but
4) mouzStrelok - on Kaspersky invitational he won 1 game against Zenio. I think he deserves chance to play on GSL

Well I watch his stream as well and my opinion disagrees with your opinion. =P It's easy to have an opinion either way, but not so easy to actually back it up with facts.

Kiwi might have improved relative to the NA scene, which in no way means he improved relative to Huk. I can't say I've noticed that big of an improvement to be honest, he was always a pretty good player and still is, but he's far from a dominant one. In fact qxc and Fenix are still better, and if we're considering invites, probably deserve it more than Kiwi if they're interested in going.

Huk trains with, plays against and beats top players in the world on daily basis as just a form of daily practice. Knowing how Starcraft works in general (and how Brood War worked), the odds of Kiwi improving to the point where he's better than Huk in this situation are not really high at all. If you're not playing in Korea, you just don't improve nearly as fast in any segment of the game.

As for the direct comparison of their play, it can be quite deceiving. Kiwi had some inspiring play the last two days, while HuK does mostly bread-and-butter straightforward builds, but that only really means that Kiwi is more entertaining, not more "evolved".

Heh, taking notes from the SEA community I guess.

They just don't get that they're only devaluing the thread and making the whole voting thing a joke that nobody is going to take seriously.

more 1 post Russians arrive

edit: but the russian speaking players like Dimaga, White-Ra, Kas and BratOK are good enough to go to Korea and did better in international tournaments than people like Moonglade (SEA) and Incontrol (US)
