In wc3 after 1.14 there was a patch to change the ELL, the way match-making works and there was a trick to "abuse it". You lose 10 / 15 games on purpose to have a hell of a crappy ELL and then, for the next 100 games, you're matched to opponents with negative win ratio, until you reach a good ELL again but you have stats like 80/10. Maybe what happened ? | ||

I do think mvp is capable of playing macro style if he needs to but he isnt as good all around as jinro or top and maybe even maka. having this argument is kind of stupid since there's way too much to take into consideration for us to be able to decide who's better than the other. i believe clide proved vs leenock in gsl3 that he has a strong macro oriented playstyle. he still has a lot to prove though since he hasn't been doing great in gsl. however it's easy to tell he has mad skills and i'm sure people wouldn't hype him if he wasn't one of the best. i just named him out of bias from what i've seen/heard.  | ||

Keep in mind Jinro didn't really break out and get to the level he is at now (code s material) until he had spent 2+ months practicing in Korea. And yes, it's very easy to come up with Koreans who are better than him because right now the Koreans have the best players in the world. It's not a myth. The blizzcon results show what a good Korean player can do to foreigners (I think Genius is overrated, but he still dominated) On the OT, this is interesting. That morrow game was something out of macro BW lol. Don't see that too often. | ||

Replace Maka with ST_Bomber and Clide with TOP probably, if we are going for top 4. Tho its close I guess. | ||
