silly euros tricks are for kids haha jk seems like a solid lineup, looking forward to seeing how they do in tournies would be nice to see if any try out for upcomming gsls in 2011 and gz ToD!
Awesome. ToD used to be the IdrA of warcraft 3 to some extent but it's crazy to see how much he's evolved / changed as a gamer. Glad to see him on the SC2 side of things, hopefully we'll see the same ToD who was a top War3 player for quite some time .
Assuming this isn't a fake report, it's great to see another WC3 legend switching over.
I'm a bit surprised he didn't pick terran, but we could certainly use another top protoss player on the western pro scene.
I was never a huge fan, but I hope he does well (if only to help dispel the myth that warcraft players are all inherently bad at starcraft). 2011 is shaping up to be an exciting year for watching SC2, that much is clear.
Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooo This is false you dont understand french, aAa said it was a rumor ( a strong one , with many proofs), but ToD said in one of his interview that he dont know which team he should go on between a french one and a european one ( i bet its between millenium and mousesports ). There is nothing official atm, and this is pure speculation by aAa.

Madfrog was one of the best players in korea when he was there. There were lots of other great european players that you're forgetting
Lucifron, SaSe, Hot, and to a lesser extent Happy could all hold their own against koreans, indeed.
Those were pretty average imo. Hot was inconsistent, as was SaSE. Lucifron was only good in the end. Apm70, FaTC, HeMan, Insomnia, Creolophus and WinneR (last one being possibly the most overlooked wc3 player ever - he always beat the best korean undeads.) are examples of players who were just as good as the best koreans.
But yeah, great to see ToD back, whether he joins that clan or not.
This info has NOT been confirmed by Millenium. Atm it's just a rumor. aAa wrote an article about ToD joining Millenium because the ESL staff made a little mistake in a tournament review where they said that ToD was from the Millenium team which is actually NOT the case.
As for the article, the information as not yet been confirmed by either ToD or Millenium. Atm it is still rumors, mainly based on the fact that ToD has been playing some 2v2s and 4v4s with players from Millenium.
Yet I would not be surpised if this would become true is the next days. Tod is already over 3K ladder points and has a lot of contacts with millenium.

looking forward to seeing him play!
stream maybeh? :o
He has more RTS skill than all 3 of those players. Debatable, I know, especially if you don't know him. However, his micro was incredibly strong and he was also a good macro player as he played Human in WC3.

Just watched him in the first TSL qualifier tournament and his PvT was bad. His macro from 1 base already didn't make sense and his micro was nothing special.

That's a shame then. Guess he just needs to play more. I assumed he'd be much better.

Firstly, I wasn't even comparing his fame with his skill. But to answer your question "how can you compare skill by fame?", the correlation must be very strong since, as a player, you gain popularity by winning which requires skill.
that lineup is killer. glad to see ToD taking sc2 seriously, had some doubts in beginning he was talking about not getting competitive with games anymore.

This is very true. Although, there will be in the future which is why teams are recruiting all the good players before other teams get their hands on them first.
Yoan said in his interview (http://www.millenium.org/home/accueil/actualites/l-equipe-starcraft-ii-se-renforce-encore-tod-rejoint-millenium-40104?page=2) that he wasn't happy about his current level. I think he will improve a lot, he's been playing "seriously" for only one month or so. There is no doubt that he can be a top EU player if he has the motivation, he just needs some time to adjust to sc2, warcraft3 requires very few apm/multitasking.
As for MoMaN he left Millenium and joined Cybernation's team (a PC bang in Paris) because they offered him a full time job.

Hes not completely alien to Broodwar Artosis said on a cast of one of Yoan's games that he was C playing around on iccup when he was out in korea with him.
Its good to see clans building up their rosters, I know there arent many clanwar competitions yet but hopefully there will be in the near future.
