Just did a 4v4 there when one of the other Protoss players was bitching about me using DTs, when he had a Dark Shrine right there, and was making them the whole game. Guess I was using them the wrong way and I need to learn to play.

Opponent: I'm just playing random for the achievements. Opponent: Went from diamond to silver in like 3 days Opponent has left the game! He then proceeded to give me some well-meaning advice: Me: So if you're a diamond player, what would you do vs. Zerg? Opponent: p v z? Me: Yeah Opponent: I wouldn't play Protoss at all if I were you Opponent: They are incredibly underpowered Me: Well I think I'll stick with them Me: According to Team Liquid they're a bit underpowered at the moment Opponent: Well, I'd 4 gate allin into robotics army Me: I thought only noobs did that No replies after that. | ||

Playing a PvP on Steppes. My opponent doesn't wall so I get a probe in unnoticed. Since the bases on Steppes are big and I'd done this, I figured why not and did a 4-Gate with a Pylon in his base. At one point he built a Pylon sort of near mine so I moved the Probe ACROSS HIS BASE and went to the other side. Everything he had was so tight to the Nexus that he saw nothing. So, when the 4-Gate hit he was crushed. He then said "I guess Blizzard has enabled cheats again." Umm, cheats are for Single Player only, that was pretty standard, and scout your own damn base. | ||

Everything's going normally, I use my 9 scout to check for cheese (and somehow miss his proxy pylon+8 gate by mere millimeters on the screen) and enter his base, only to see a pylon and nothing else. As I flip back to my main I see his probe walling my ramp with a pylon and I see his zealot outside. Meanwhile, I warp a forge and use my zealot to kill his pylon. He tries setting up cannons of his own outside my base but mine are able to reach him from the high ground and my micro is superior so he's lost a zealot. I decide to put a proxy pylon in his base and warp cannons next to his nexus, out of sight. 50 seconds later and I warp in a cannon in vision of his nexus; he sees it, pulls probes (loses 3) and promptly sends, "cheesing nobo" and ragequits When I leave the game, I get a PM from him saying "go cheese somewhere else noob" and I laugh, seeing as I countered HIS cheese Saddest part was that he was somehow 2500 diamond: looking at the replay, he had 8 probes the entire game. | ||
