There's a chance he might have been complimenting your build choice or something. I've actually been really fascinated with a TvT 1 base build I lost to before and genuinely meant it as a compliment when I said something similar. Unless there was crazy chat BM after or something, it doesn't seem like out of the ordinary BM to me o.O

Ok, I don't see how that doesn't mean the comment couldn't be genuine still. Probably more likely that he was being sarcastic, but I wouldn't exactly be surprised if he was actually serious - I've met some people like that on ladder who actually are.

I played a guy last night who was acting that whole "nice guy then I'll 2 rax" build and I could clearly tell. I saw he was 2 raxing then decided to proxy hatch in his main to see if he noticed. He didn't. Few seconds later and my hatch pops, i quickly make a spine and a few queens to stop him from building a bunker at my proxy hatch. I had the best comeback, I said "hey! now I'm bringing the bunker rush to you!". He defended it but I beat him after with hydralisks ez pz (also I went hydras because I just don't give a fuck.

So I was playing a 2v2 2 days ago with my friend and the other team were being douchebags by spamming gibberish throughout the match. My friend busted down their wall with chargelot immortal while I ran in their with a bunch of lings. While doing that, I did a Handsome Jack Monologue from Borderlands 2, found in the link below. After I said the "these pretzels suck" line, one of them left. Halfway through, the other guy left. I think my skill of remembering monologues from other characters in other videogames might be more useful in the future.

I will put up pictures tomorrow if I remember.

I just had a nice one. These guys were BMing me in game because I disconnected in the game before, making me an utter noob of course. Oh right, and this disconnect also directly resulted in my being 14. I had a bit of fun with the after game chat, but I almost feel bad posting this here because as we were talking he was becoming more and more reasonable. But it was hilarious nonetheless! It was to me at least, hope it is to some of you too.

The setting is Shakuras Plateau, the mood, melancholy. Quip, quick, and thoughtful, but not sarcastic as his name would suggests, opens with a standard mannering:

Quip: hf gg

This time in accordance with his name,Quip plays cloakshee and hellions on one base with intentions to do heavy damage with his wit, er, his build order. Shadow opens 1 rax FE into 10 min timing with CS Stim and +1 attack. Quip, seeing this build order, retorts and does tons of damage (17 scvs worth), Shadow stabilizes, counter-wits, and stims and kills off Quip's natural + 16 scvs. even damage. Food at this point is 100 (Shadow) to 50 (Quip).

Quip is going mech, deciding against his usual speed of play, and going siege first versus the standard blue flame hellion mix with raven. (a mistake, I believe).

However, Quip, as per his name sake, still makes hellions, and they run around, but are unable to do damage.

Post fight damage: Shadow = 151/169, Quip = a slow 63/129

I did end up floating my buildings around and make him kill me but that was about the time he said bye and I generally do that when someone gives me that much attitude

I did end up reporting him as that went on through two more games but figured I would share.

So i went vs this terran, did the greediest opening i've went up against, double cc before rax, he went for mass racks and hellions, killed my third and natural , i got some juicy fungals (he didn't have any medivacs) , triple expanded and somehow won. Got some golden bm.
