He then goes on to tell me in chat that he was at GM level and that I should enjoy being a scrub ^^ So rewarding | ||

My favourite part is my problem isn't mechanical -- we are both diamond, hes mid diamond in rank and i was outmacroing the whole time. His cloak banshee opening did 0 damage to my 1 gate fe, only killed one sentry and lost 3 banshees. Terran is apparently now UP. I haven't had terrans complain to me about protoss in a long long time. | ||

ZvZ on Antiga, my enemy was slightly favored.(lol) I said gl hf and he responded with a gl. He decided to go hatch first (mind you, I was silver and he was gold). .At the beginning, I put an evolution chamber in his gas line and he said "BRONZE LEAGEU SPESHUUL TACTICS". I just posted a "?" and assumed he was bronze. (At this point, all he had said was gl so I assumed he was mannered and was talking about himself being bronze.) With my terrible decision making, I expanded as well, then decided I wanted to baneling bust. Since it was low league, I assumed he wouldn't be able to handle it well So with my terrible silver micro my banelings never hit zerglings. They hit a spine crawler, a queen and some drones, killing almost nothing. After sending about 3 waves, he had utterly annihilated my army. Then he said: "why the fuck are you trashcan gold players so unpredictable?" and ragequit. lmfao... I didn't even know where to start with him, I decided first I would say "gg" and then say "btw, I'm silver, not bronze OR gold." and then something like HuK, maybe say "I had nothing left in my army, you weren't loss" then "wtf do you think I;m unpredictable? You scouted what I was doing, and you went hatch first and got a lair super early, this isn't a ZvT or ZvP, you can't just drone up and get a lair in ZvZ (especially if you saw I was pumping lings into your base)" Sadly, he ragequit and closed the game entirely....so I never got to say any of those things. Still a hilarious and EXTREMELY confusing game. I didn't even know where to start with that guy. | ||

It wasn't so much that he handled it well that I played it poorly though. When he pulled all of his drones, I should've sacrificed my lings to get a bunch of drone kills. I pulled out and he was able to make more lings. I also thought it was funny that he thought I was bronze. He must not have much self-esteem if he assumes that he's facing bronzies while he's in gold. And then before raging he claimed I was a "trashcan gold" I hope he's learned his lesson: Do not go hatch first in ZvZ and then drone up and get a lair when your opponent is baneling busting. And don't claim someone is unpredictable after they've done the same thing 3 times in a row. | ||
