SUP DOODS! is (or will be) a weekly -Live- show on sunday nights (7pmEST)
The show will be hosted by the 2 Leaders of ROOT Gaming (myself and ROOTDrewbie) and 2 of the strongest and cutest players of Fnatic MSI, Gretorp and Payam Toghyan (TTOne).
On this show we will not try to be super uptight about anything but rather have lots of fun and interact with the audience, As our pilot will be launched this very Sunday, the structure of the Show is very much in dipers, but we do have quite a few surprises planned out and things you can expect from this show as well as others to come.
We will be discussing and talking about Up and Coming players, that we plan on interviewing (perhaps 1 per show) as well as inviting a top player to join the discussion.
Later on both the up and commer and the 'pro' player will play a showmatch for our enjoyment which of course will be casted live by Gretorp, TT1, Drewbie and CatZ.
For the Cast we'll be most likely using my stream or Gretorp's. And a list of episodes will be available on Youtube for your enjoyment.
we'll try and answer some questions, general, game related, specific to our hosts, anything that comes to mind. for questions (and only for questions) to be answered during the show, we'll select them from the following thread @ ROOT-Gaming's forums (www.root-gaming.com)
Sounds good, love listening to your stream and the banter on your TS between players. Lets hope drewbie doesnt dodge this like he does when you want your ladder points back :D
Sweet sounds like a lot of fun. Is this gonna be something like State of the Game where you can download each show as a .mp3 or perhaps we can get a vod?
sounds awesome - happy to hear youtube vods will be posted - waiting till 2am monday morning for the show to start would vastly eat into my sleep before the dreaded monday morning trudge to work.

EDIT: The motherrrfuuuckerrrr
What voice recordings? CatZ has no such things, don't be silly. There are no voice recordings.
Wouldn't miss this chance to see this show, should be lots of fun. If you haven't watched CatZ's stream before, or watched a game casted by him, then definitely check this out at least. He is awesome!
Haha I'm surprised you guys are actually doing this. I thought you were joking when you mentioned it on your stream like a week or two ago, CatZ. I'll tune in for sure. Best of luck!
ROFL@QXC XD hahahaha, vods will be recorded and later posted on youtube, thanks everyone for the support, and ofc Kevin and Osto you'll both be invited plenty
Sups Dood ^^ Sounds good, definitely looking forward to it. I really enjoy your stream as well, loved that game against Gretorp specially that last chat ^^ Suerte y una pregunta indiscreta, r u from Peru?

I really hope you guys make a MP3 of the whole show. (even when youre shoutcasting a game)
Holy shit more podcasts? and with catz!? Im soon gonna run out of time to immerse myself in all the amazing stuff the sc2 community does! Looking forward to this
Hi, longtime lurker here, posting because I love your stream
How is this show going to be content-wise? I know that you will do your own awesome root-style and so I'm sure this show will be the bomb! I just want to know in which general direction you are planning to head with this?
I loved that SC2 brought together so many people from all over the world, disregarding countries and cultures focusing on the love for the game. Something I see, unfortunately, a bit fading lately.
I would love to hear about other regions as well, and I'm not talking about Europe exclusively (Southamerica? There has to be some sweet SC2 action going down as well? Or what about Australia? Even if it's hard to get info, would you try?) and talk about strategies/balance(ugh) in general and not too focused on specific races or if, then trying to cover all races.
I will be watching your show, best of luck! Because of people like you I have turned from a SC2-Player to a SC2-Spectator
yo paulo, its sam here. this is gonna be awesome, although try and get it on Itunes podcasts so we can download it on mp3 format. you'll get a lot of people. like state of the game.
Are there any plans to release this as mp3 because I already listen to State of the Game as I walk around campus, and it makes my day 10000000x better. I think this could do the same if I were to miss a live episode.
This would be an awesome to have as MP3 as well. I like all the players on the cast and it's nice to have a different point of view aside State of the Game. Kudos, gentlemen!
Great show, really good rapport between the hosts, especially for the very first broadcast ever. Definitely looking forward to having this every Sunday. Nice work!
Quite an entertaining show tonight, thanks for putting it on! Feedback: when doing the sign-off, waiting a little while before turning the stream off allows slow users' streams to catch up (prob 10 seconds works), so no one misses the last few words
currently watching the vod, and I feel like theres a difference between going over the results of a tournament and going over EVERY single matchup and saying who won >_<. Thinking you guys overdid it
May I suggest that you pre-screen the questions and only ask a set number. That way you guys can talk about what ever you specifically want without spending an entire episode on answering every random question or repetitive questions.
Will there be a way to download it as mp3? Of course I can just download it from ustream and convert to mp3 but I'm lazy that way. I love listening to podcasts and sc shows when going to the gym

Ya I do the exact same thing. I would greatly appreciate if you put it up on iTunes!
I echo the usefulness of making a mp3 version of this. It will really make your show more accessible as people will be better able to listen in while commuting.
Great podcast so far, I have a couple suggestions though.
For the first few episodes maybe use each others' SC2 IDs more often during conversations, sometimes it can be hard to tell who specifically is speaking just because I'm not used to it yet. After a few episodes it shouldn't be a big deal, but for the first couple I think it'd help. I believe the SOTG podcast still does this.
Watch some of the Skype noises and sounds coming from other programs that can be distracting/annoying. There was one point where I could hear nothing but constant Skype messages being sent. This didn't occur frequently but when it did it made it difficult to understand what was being said.
If I think of anything else I'll add it, but gl on the next cast doods.
I am listening for the first time right now and I like it! Good job!
It would be very nice if there is an opportunity to download the mp3. And a kind of index of contents (who is on the show, what are the topics, and so on) would make it perfect!

I used to love watching Gretorp's stream even though I play zerg. He just has such an analytical approach to the game and always makes it clear why something is good, which I both appreciate and can relate to. I also love Catz for some off the wall stuff that makes me smile.
As an aside,
Dear Catz,
That king of the hill game you played on Lost Temple the other day with the Nydus/Infestor harass was awesome. Don't worry about the result, it's seeing stuff like that that both keeps me playing zerg and keeps me watching your stream. Don't lose your style, it's what makes you so entertaining to watch.
haha thats an awesome song, who did it? At first I thought they just grabbed a rap song and used it for their show, then he started mentioning players etc, really well done xD
sorry guys, last weekend we had finals of ROOT vs Fnatic which made it impossible for us to do the show at the programmed time, we wanted to push it till later but it got too late.
this weekend with new year's and all its prob not gonna happen either, we might try but im still stuck in orlando till tomorrow, either way, we'll def get back to this on the 2011 thanks everyone for understanding and support
Still wanting a iPod or MP3 for this podcast. I listen to most Starcraft 2 Podcasts (the good ones anyways) and would definitely add this one into my cycle, if I could.
