Pretty sure he's only been in IEM & GSL since release. It's not like he plays in a million cups or MLG.

... and my point still stands? :p

Wait, Sen and softball are 2 different persons?

NEXGenious vs Select will be very interesting game

Maybe im missing out on something, but TLO plays Zerg here? Awesome!

TLO vs Sen and NEXGenious vs SeLeCT are the closest first round games imo, don't know who is gonna win those and all four I could see winning the tournament. I voted Fenix to win, I've been really impressed by his play as of late (haven't seen much of his TvZ, but his TvT and TvP are absurd), but there are enough great players that predicting the winner is hard. I would rank it something like
1. Fenix 2. Sen 3. NEXGenius 4. SeLeCT 5. Huk 6. MakaPrime 7. TLO 8. Demuslim
But I'll probably end up wrong like I did for my top 8 of the Ro16 for the GSL
EDIT: Also I picked Fruitdealer for the showmatch, he has to be the favorite for just about any match after winning the GSL (until something crazy happens)

I think he has made the biggest accomplishments by adding the most entertainment value to the spectator portion of this game. His play isn't gimmicky and he has shown time and time again that he can beat very good players with unorthordox builds. He makes the game more exciting and draws new fans to SC2. The real difference between him and boxer is that there wasn't a 10-year old prequel to draw knowledge and practice from. Boxer's amazing style produced wins partly because the game was really new at the time, and TLO doesn't have the same luxury. He can't just dominate everyone when there are other good (or better) ways of playing the game, but he can certainly win the crowd.
Several players have won different tournaments, some more prestigious than others...but few have won the hearts of the fans. TLO has.

most exiting match for me is most definatly Sen vs TLO absolutly cant wait for that match!
hoping tlo will bust out a all new T v Z strat that will shock everyone !

lmao @ white-ra having a 91% vs Ice. I think its more like 60-40 in ices favor.
|
Thank god for TLO there is a lower bracket

tbh I think the winner of this will take it all - nexgenius has actually a pretty awsome PvT when he doesn't get cheesed and the zerg-elite (idra, fruit, check) isn't present....and playstyle-wise I think select could give him the most troubles; but we'll see

I don't know Ice, but if he is any good, he will win easily. People should just accept that White-Ra sucks nowadays.

Funny how more people think TLO wins against Sen, yet sen is the favourite to win the tournament lol

I'm feeling Sen for the win.
He's not overrated, most of his games are actually entertaining just that hes not super consistent. I think TLO might take this, he is ridiculously good at times and has the skills to take out a korean player.

is fenix really so good? are there any replays of him ?
|
TLO is an amazing player who sometimes tries really weird builds at tournaments.
Mass thor with 250mm against toss? What?
And it might have even worked if he hadn't been so badly out of position. Which is an artifact of a novel build with not a lot of practice.
Mechanically he's a great player and and really shines in the late game. He's usually fine about scouting too, he was just on tilt after the first two games.

and why are they in this tournament?
is it because they did well on ladder?
They earned it more than 90% of the people there. Just in case you did not realize there is a region called SEA.
They got selected after the top of ladder tournament which was posted in blizzard site + game.
FYI :- Lets c how that 92% favored witera going to win was Ice .
