With BlizzCon on the horizon, I decided to take an in-depth look at the brackets and make predictions based on information / results I could find on each player.
The top bracket looks a little bit weaker than the lower bracket, being that the semi-finals is probably being played in the first round between SeleCT and NEXGenius. SeleCT has proven he can beat Fenix, White-ra, and DeMuSLiM. However, SeleCT admitted he has very little practice against top zergs. I am not too sure about iceiceice, Luffy, or SoFTBaLL so if someone would like to inform a little about them it would be greatly appreciated.
The lower half of the bracket seems much more competitive with MakaPrime, HuK, TLO, Sen, DiMaGA, and Loner all battling for a spot. I do not know much about Loner other than he was one of three qualifiers for the GSL Ro64, which is quite impressive. Some of the Australian Pros from the SEA scene have said that RedArchon was a fluke qualifier based on the brackets made for the Blizzard SEA Regionals, and his strategies have been recently nerfed (I've been gaming with mOOnglade and Rozkun, two of the invitees of the SEA regionals, for years). The scariest player of the group seems to be MakaPrime with his recent All-Kill of TSL in the GomTV ClanWar Invitational and is probably favored to win the event.
