This isn't 100% translation, just a rough summary

Well, there's been a rumor that Han Jung Won, head and representative of South Korean Blizzard Entertainment, has been replaced or will be replaced. Well, the rumor is true.

They didn't state any reason why this is taking place, but the article speculates that the failure of SC2 launching in Korea caused this to happen. Han Jung Won, who's been working at head division of North Asia (except China), returned to Korea this February for SC2 launch. Replacing the head before SC2 kicks into full gear further raises speculation that the failure is the cause of this initiative.

For time being, Michael Gilmartin, global quality assurance director, will stay in Korea for next six months looking for a new head of Blizzard Korea.

That's the nice thing about Korea, when people fail they get fired.

He wasn't fired. His position was changed to something else (unknown for time being)

It's nice thing to know about the world, too.

I think the problem for SC2 was
a) Koreans had to update their current computers for good graphics (tbh this is a big put off for a lot of Koreans)
b) BW is still immensly popular, their 'heroes' are still in BW
c) THERE IS NO LAN (okay this one is from me but still mad about this)

Sad to see the launching of SC2 in Korea is considered a failure. We all (somewhat) knew that but still if even Blizzard admitted that..

They did reasonable. Problem is that they spent shitload of money in the form marketing and from that point of view they did a huge loss.

Blizzard never admitted it. However, based on speculations, it is a reasonable excuse at the moment.

190k players is not big at all compared to other countries :/
And then the GSL will start off with the biggest prize money of any sc2 event in a country where sc2 isn't doing well and is only living on it's reputation of it's predecessor.
If you read the pricing of stream/vods of gomtv you'd almost believe that the sales is also one of its reason for having a fee on the stream/vods.

He should be glad he's not the Japanese representative or he would be forced to commit seppuku.

190k is the number of players on KR server recorded by sc2ranks. It doesn't reflect the actual Korean sales because it only counts the accounts that have completed 5 placement matches. The game is only out for 1 month, I would imagine many people are still playing Single player or other Multiplayer game modes.

Theres nothing in sc2 other than Single player which takes 12-20 hours to complete

Custom games are bad because all that popularity ranking are stupid.
