It'd be pretty natural for him to join TL-oGs imo. They have the skill, the variety of playstyles and fellow english speakers. It would do good to his mental health to hang around people more similar to himself when it comes to lifestyle.

They're living together temporarily and practicing together but they're not one team.

Idra doesn't seem to want to leave Korea, if he signs with a foreigner team they won't force him to leave korea, and if he joins a korean non-kespa team then obviously he'll stay in korea. I'm fairly confident he won't be leaving there.

I thought they said they merged up in that article about it.

I would love to see him get on a team like .Root, but he's got all the options open to him

Im pretty sure idra wont be joining any team like Root. The best team to join would be some of the big names like EG etc, if you would have to choose from 'foreign' team.. But 100% sure hes focusing on Korean teams first.

But everyone besides machine pretty much suks ;/. I still love u incontrol!

Inc just beat Machine and eliminated Nony at MLG...
In Hungry Hungry Hippos there are no such constraints—one can constantly attempt to collect marbles with one’s hippo, limited only by one’s hippo-levering capabilities.

That would be neat.

I imagine he'll be sticking with Korea teams as a first priority, though. If I were him, I'd want to know the language before trying to find another team, but it seems like few foreigners are interested in doing that

I don't see why any Korean team would want Idra in their house. Of course, he IS one of the best players, but he doesn't speak Korean so he wouldn't be able to discuss strategies which is a HUGE deal in the current stage of SC2 gameplay evolution IMO.

I'm really curious how this ends.

I want a vulture and you are right. He probably would want to join a team with some Starcraft 2 players, but a sponsored team. I hear MBC has some Starcraft 2 players on their team now~~

Will be interesting for sure.

If he lives in Korea he can provide that for himself. But the foreign tournaments might be an issue. Flying from Asia to Europe/NA for every non-GSL tournament would be pretty costly, which is why I can't see him really joining a team that isn't based in Korea.

Grrr is the only one who joined oGs, the other ones are still in TLAF-Liquid`.
Grrr also speaks korean fluently and lived there for many years so he is no real foreigner for them anymore.

Well at least you're man enough to respond to it. But I don't know how you can say they're bad when you probably haven't seen them play much. Inka just came 2nd at the greenforest lan, lz has 2-0'd everyone up until he faced CauthonLuck who is a top terran player, and LZ gets the least practice in TvT. InControl has been a solid player for a decade. I'd go on but I guess theres no point in saying it, EG is a solid team, their whole lineup can do well in any given tournament

MBC has IrOn and thats it lol, no?

And once again, oGs and TL are not one team. they practice/live together doesn't mean they're one team, oGs can add players to their team, TL can add players to their team, but TLO Jinro and Nazgul are on teamliquid. Grrr... might be considered a foreigner but he defines what "oGs" stands for, which is the old generation starcraft player.
