That whole "MVP thinks Terran is the weakest race" thing was sensationalism from Artosis. Very typical journalism.

Zerg and protoss can make TONS of units at once, while terran have to stream them out, one by one, to the battle. It's so annoying when you barely beat a protoss army and you can't do any damage after that, as they warp in 20 zealots/stalkers right after the battle. They can also put their reinforcements basically anywhere, so if you try to reinforce your army they can actually cut off your reinforcements with theirs. That's just the design of terran, it is the same in BW. If you want to see how overpowered terrans would be with faster reinforcements, play the campaign with marine orbital drops. At the same time, protoss need warpgates to attack unless they build a deathball.

Maybe that is why Blizzard gave terran the best static defense and base security, as well as strong buildings? Granted if the game has advanced to the point where your protoss opponents can warp in 20 units at once you'd probably lost the game already.

Again... I really hope I don't come across as a dick or anything like that... I've seen quite a few people get very easily offended on TL when I post constructive criticism so I'm trying to be careful. I still enjoyed the show and watched the whole thing, but I just feel like previous episodes have been much better when there was more discussion between all of you.

If both players are at 200/200 and they have a huge fight, protoss just warps in a huge round of zealots/stalkers CLOSE to the battle so you can't even really retreat to try to build up again.

I think the whole "Terran is the weakest" really was targeted at the big maps. On these maps the mobility of terran bio doesnt beat the mobility of Zerg anymore (you wont stim to run across) and immobile mech really has problems due to the size and the not-so-awesome-damage. Another weakness of Terrans is that they are dead once their production facilities are killed in a late game. Zerg have their production facilities spread out all over and just need one tech building for each unit type and Protoss can just rebuild an entire base with just one Probe. All in all its just a feeling that is valid ... just like Zerg can "complain" about the macro they need and the "drone vs units" decision making.
