Bad how? neither of them played well. they just picked build orders and then rammed their heads into each other until one lost. going against phoneix colossi when you have 4 bases and not making a raven, not emping the phoenix, running random dudes across the map to get picked up and killed, its just bad. but then genius was no better, sitting on 2 bases forever but not building a 2 base deathpush, he just didnt expand, thats just bad macro and shows he had no overall plan going into the game. 3 nuclear missles killing a total of 4 probes and 1 assimilator was totally worth it : l not saying either of them are bad players, i just hoped for more considering they are big names, easily the worst game of the weekend for me.

Game 1 I can see what you mean (a little) but come on now, game 2 was f'in awesome. Nukes and late game reapers?! Maybe cause I'm terran and your toss or zerg, I dunno, but game 2 was pretty awesome in my book. You really thought Mondragon vs. Zeerax was a better series.... ![]() On Topic - I hope the SotG guys talk a lot about the TSL results and matchups coming up in the round of 16! I would especially love to get Tyler's thoughts on his specific matchups and thoughts. Keep up the great work guys! ![]()

I didn't like the series at all - mainly because of Genius. Sorry to say so.

QXC played well, sure, but the protoss just literally took an overwhelming advantage and threw it away by playing poorly. He could easily have taken a 4th and denied the terran's gold base until the terran starved, but instead he just keeps throwing units away and making terrible decisions. The late game reapers+nukes are interesting, but really had little effect on the game.

Some of the korean losses were just sad, some of the other losses were just sad, too. (not taking anything away from TSL but seriously)

I hated the Mondragon vs. Zeerax series so much just because I thought Zeerax played so poorly. I thought Mondragon played well but when the other player plays awful, it's hard to get a good grasp on the game. I suppose it's the same situation for you with the qxc v. genius series. Of course, as a terran player, I can at least appreciate the game in a different way when the Terran player plays well - regardless of the other circumstances, even if the actual game wasn't anything to write home about.

Genius should have realized that attacking into planetary fortresses with armor and (I think) range upgrade is not that productive by the third time he did it...

I don't find him that funny but if there are even 20% of people who do, I certainly won't die because of those 60 seconds. and I'm sure that people who haven't seen him before will find him amusing.
