Maybe instead of restricting each team to exactly 5 players, give each team a 1 or 2 player seed and make the rest of the spots open. Now the tournament can accommodate more teams, teams don't have to bench a player, non-teamed players have a larger chance to qualify, and there will still be a large diversity of teams. Teammates throwing games is a non-issue in my opinion.

If NASL wanted to support the growth of teams, I think creating a Team League separate from the NASL is a far better idea.

Yes the individual games are played 1v1 .. but if you cannot conceive this game or BW as some form of team game then you are either limited or trolling.. Teams play a massive role - besides support/training etc; CW, proleague, GSTL, GCPL, SGL, SCL etc etc .. they are all known as TEAM leagues.. click on TLPD and check out the database for TEAM LEAGUES...

I agree with idra about hydras and roaches should be switched, not that it would fix all the problems that zerg has but it just makes sense that all races get their all purpose range unit as their first or second unit in the game or atleast have the choice to.

I honestly think zerg is just missing units that are coming with the next expansion( still keeping my hopes up for the lurker)

The download tip on the SoTG website was super useful. Very interesting show and loved Tyler's particular fiestiness this episode. I do think Painuser was a bit more interesting than Idra, but it was another good show none the less.

I wonder if Incontrol ever appreciates the irony of some of his statements. All of the qualifications aside about really how really despite shitting on someone they have so much respect for them, whenver he talks about a commentator he sounds like he has a major chip on a shoulder. It would be a pity if the NASL fails to appreciate what bits of presentation and commentary ability youtube commentators do so well and approach casting with an arrogant approach that "damnit I coach people. These guys just play diamond. We both sound the same and I'm funny so all things equal I am objectively the superior commentator."

I totally agree with all the points Tyler brought up against the 5 player per team rule in the NASL. The way I see it, the league should either define it's self as a Team league, or a Solo league. Despite the fact that Russel claimed that the league was not designed for teams to operate as a unit, the limit on members per team suggests the opposite.
