It would get you a lot of hits, subscribers (for your other shows as well), and eventually certainly a partnership deal and thus a little $$$ for you to fund your community projects. Plus people like me can then listen to state of the game on the fly via iPhone etc. (can't download audio files on it). | ||

Question for Sundance, I understand the thought behind making the championship the 50k first prize... obviously going for the "wow" factor. However don't you think the community would be better suited spreading out the prize money through all the events? You could still have the championship have a bigger prize but instead of 50k for one events first place and 5k for the rest you could award 25k for the 1st in the championship and 10k for the other events. And sundance went off twice on tangents about sponsors and how he wants to do it but needs our help... which had nothing to do with differently distributing the already secured prize money. | ||

I do agree with Icon's statement that he didn't quite answer it directly. I'd guess it's because the sponsors by the package and they prefer that the finals be a "superbowl" finals like many other american sports models. Thus Sundance's hands were a little constrained as he wants 1 event to give everyone the big eyes and get them to come. Also, I'm sure he might have an eye on some koreans. If the mlg typical events are like a code a qualifier with a better prize pool, no doubt more than a few korean houses will be eying the MLG main event as a good chance to take home some good money with not overly much risk. (Expected values are pretty good). | ||

And now InControl is using the thread as an example of why Artosis shouldn't talk about balance. WHAT? You guys put forth no logic or reasoning to why Artosis shouldn't be talking about balance, you're acting like it's just obvious. It's not, their arguments are logical and if you want to counter them COUNTER THE ARGMENTS. I will trust Artosis' opinion a million times before yours because he backs it up with logic and points instead of 'LOLOOOOL HE DOESNT KNOW WHAT AUDACITY IS SO THAT MAKES HIM BAD AT STARCRAFT'. | ||

I think you're missing his point. Of course friends will shit talk each other into oblivion. He's saying incontrol is stupid to point to that thread as a reason to not trust Artosis on balance. As like he said Artosis had well thought out opinions and incontrol/nony trolled his ass into the ground. Nothin wrong with that at all. I love this show and I like incontrol but at least address this guys point... | ||

- Geoff was hilarious. - I enjoyed Day9's comment about unusual or non-perfect unit combinations beating a better composition because of macro/other factors. Something I really like about BW. - Shame the guys didn't see today's GTSL matches before the podcast. They were totally jjang. | ||

In the thread iNcontroL and Tyler responded to Artosis saying, "because it is 50/50, it is not balanced" in an iNcontroL way, you obviously didn't read it | ||
