No no no no. It's not that the horse will eat your soul. It's that the deep despair stemming from the acceptance of a meaningless life full of only pain and suffering can be seen manifested in physical form through the horses eyes. The Horse is an totem of depair.

To understand a horse one must confront mankind's horrifying capacity for cruelty and indignance, and risk losing oneself to this farcical, godless nightmare we call existence.

The Horse isn't just a totem of despair, it IS despair manifest in the physical realm unnecessarily created by humans to satiate their sadistic tendencies.

I must humbly disagree with you fine gentlemen. I do this not in the intent of harboring animosity, yet your statements are in firm contrast to our Prophet, Incontrol's, views. He has made it abundantly clear that a Horse is a phallic symbol - to suggest otherwise is to wade into the dangerous currents of blasphemy.

But must the word's of apostle Tyler be discarded? Neigh, such talk would be pure tom-foalary. What is stated by iNcontroL inSoTG:12.14.10 is that there is a clear divide between what the female gender perceives horses as (phallic symbols), and what they truly are (symbols of true despair and lost hope).

To even challenge us on our faith in such a manner! We would never reject the notion that the Horse is seen as a phallic symbol to the female gender - to do so would be, as you say, pure blasphemy. However, through iNcontroL's description of the Horse and apostle Tyler's latter clarification, the audio clearly indicates the Horse's sense of despair and fatality - a revelation that has shaken the very foundation of life itself. Cause let's be fair, we all knew women were like that anyway. That crap isn't all that surprising. But the Horse....the HORSE. It's both terrifying and moving. A paradoxical being who is not evil in nature, but evil because of nature. And even then, "evil" doesn't truly come close to quantifying the essence that is Horse.

The Horse as a symbol of man's sadistic and godless nature is not in conflict with it's representation of a phallus . If anything, it deepens the level of discourse and speaks to the cultural impact of enslavement.

Similar to the end of long-term enslavement of Africans by the Americas or the Jews in Nazi Germany, we -- the captors -- are confronted by irreconcilable guilt, shame and anguish which in turn redefines these historically persecuted sects of society and their identities, be it Black, Hebrew or Equine.

This is only magnified when women are sexually drawn to the persecuted. We the captors are forced to confront not only our shame, history of inhumanity and sympathy for the persecuted, but also our past biases and prejudices against the persecuted.

In summary: Man enslaves Horse. Horse becomes Victim. Woman wants to fuck Horse. Man despairs.

But I think the overarching point is that we do *not* feel guilty about our actions towards the Horse. Prophet iNcontroL merely elaborated on the Horse's current state of being and how It has given up on all hope and instead settled for a state of deep depression. The Prophet states feelings not of guilt, shame, or anguish towards the Horse, but rather anger at Its acceptance of It's general shittiest-life-possible. The Horse's life is the worst possible life - and is sentient of this fact - but yet the Horse remains a pessimist. That is truly the depth of it's despair. Such as it is, the Prophet teaches us that the Horse should not be revered, but rather an object to be loathed. A creature that has truly given up all hope in life is a dangerous, deadly thing. It is soulless even though it possesses a soul. Hence Apostle Tyler's warning about gazing into the void of a Horse's eyes.

Toward the Horse, there is no guilt. Only caution.

I do, however, find your summary to be a very nice outline of a very complicated and nuanced philosophical issue.

I think these casts are pretty funny but the horses made me laugh harder than I've laughed in all of 2010, without question. I wasn't really motivated to watch the 'drunk cast' but I was board and it was TOTALLY worth it because of that part.
