or it could be the daily . . .

lol nope Day would never drop his daily for this

they better grill jp for ditching the podcast next week for wow, incontrol/day9 should guest host or something if peer pressure fails
|
Screw that, Tyler should guest host fo sho. ^^
Looking so forward to the stream.

Here's what we do. JP livestreams his WoW marathon and the rest of the pillars talk state of the game, pausing when appropriate to flame JP for screwing up with his night elf lady, and WoW for being dumb.

LMAO this would be sort of funny. Just make it so JP can only reply by typing in all chat in WoW to mess with people :D.

Hey, don't make someone feel bad for playing WoW. Playing TBC & WotLK on release day was really entertaining and memorable.

I thought the game was great (the best game I've played, probably) until around a year in when the focus shifted from being more about adventure and community to being more about gear. That said I was in one of the best guilds on my realm in vanilla wow as well as in TBC.

you don't see day9 skipping his dailies to play fallout new vegas and i'd like jp to take two hours out of his schedule whatever it may be to stick to his weekly commitments
edit: please? lol

People like JP, Day9, Incontrol, tyler, etc. do these things because they're having fun and enjoy interacting with the community. Aside from their own popularity boost that they get from SotG, they do it 100% FREE, actually less than free if you count their time as being worth something (which it is in many cases). Other casters take breaks all the time, being critical of JP for wanting to just take a week off is unfair and somewhat selfish.
|
I approve of JP's break (As much as I don't like it). Anyone who's played WoW on release date knows how fun it is so I feel like it's justifiable.
Should get someone to special guest host for a week though =[
|
really enjoy the podcasts -keep 'em comin'
|
He's doing the podcast for free, I think he's entitled to breaks.
|
Guys, JP is the host, the show should not go on without him. I'm sure the others would do just fine with JP missing but that's not the point.
Anyway, it's nice to see that so many of us are concerned about missing a single week. Speaks a lot of the show's quality.

+1
This is the correct solution. I look forward to enjoying its implementation.

If by free, you mean free publicity, you are absolutely correct. This show does wonders to promote everyone who's a part of it.

edit: please? lol He gives you a show with hours of content from some of the biggest names in SC2 for free, even setting up a ustream so you can listen to it live, and you're criticizing him? JP can do whatever he wants. As long as I'm not paying for anything, it's his decision. And Day9 does take breaks from his dailies to hang out with friends, rest, etc. Why can't JP do that too?
Go JP!!! Live your dreams of becoming the greatest level 67 Orcelfarchwizard in the world!
