Audacity(or your free audio recording software of choice) + vent/mumble/ts/skype = profit
If no one has multiple channel recording capabilities just grab a laptop and connect another client to the same channel / call as you guys and use stereo mixer input.
Unless you are all lost without JP on what to talk about..... jk jk jk
edit: or just make day9 record it while he makes funny poses for 3 hours. (highly recommended it)

been thinking about it and NO it is NOT ok to cancel SOTG because of Cataclysm, god damnit ;D
|
yeah it seemd like day 9 doesnt pay a lot of attention to the podcast . to justify my answer look at the last couple of sotg (leaving halfway thorugh wacthing replays and what not)
i mean its not that big of a deal as i like the laid back ness ? lol of the show, but sometimes its a bit annoying since i like what he adds to the convo so him missing out a week so we can get a cast and also jp can play wow would be great i.e putting it on monday next week.great show JP and gang keep it up you the man sotg crew. (make sotg t-shirts and sell them !)
|
they should just save up one expansion of wow, in case a war is threatening.... just release it, and everything will be quiet till people reached cap-level -.- srsly
|
JP, why don't you just play cataclysm like, after the SOTG?

Recording the podcast takes like 2-3 hours, I don't see how that's a problem unless JP wants to do so server first 85 or something crazy like that :D

Because after about 30 minutes he would go into relapse for WoW addiction.
|
WoW is bad, and you should feel bad.
Then again I got the most recent podcast super late so I'm not actually jonesing for a new one just yet.
|
Lol, if JP wants to take a week off after delivering a free podcast all these months, that is purely his business.
|
After waiting 2 years for an expansion you should cut him some slack for getting hyped about it. Cata will be awesome and i dont blaim him or anyone for giving it a huge amount of prio!

That might be true, but I think it's a good problem to have that we love the podcast so much that it hurts to miss a week. Though I'm not gonna lie, the fact that it's for WoW makes it hurt so much more.
|
Please JP, don't interrupt the show for WoW, we just love it so much! The idea with playing parallel is quite good, the game doesn't require that much focus :-) Would be awesome if you would consider this, just filling in some "oh god what a stupid quest" and "where the hell can I find 'Glomglom the Leftist', he should be here?" from time to time.

Okey Wednesday morning 5 am , better not forget my alarm clock

Hi there, first of all you all do a great job in the show, just a pleasure listening to it. Keep up the good work.
@Question: Looking back at Dreamhack or the last MLGs it kind of felt like that Protoss seemed to play pretty cheese heavy. (e.g. Inca vs Top BO3: Stargate Rush, 4Warpgate All-in, DT Rush). As a consequence PvP often ends up in 4Warpgate, DT Rush and Cannonrush battles. Why do so many Protoss, even Pros, try to All-in this often instead of trying to establish a solid Macrobuild which works more than one time in a row?

Good Question, hope JP picks it up, should email it to sotgquestions@gmail.com though to go on the safe side.
