Though if Naniwa and Nestea would have played serious, what would have happend? If nani wins people would have been like, ahh but that does not mean shit because it was a pointless game and nestea did not try yada yada yada. If nestea wins people would be the same, well naniwa did not want to play, he was not motivated so that does not mean anything yada yada yada.

People seem to think that it would be so obvious that naniwa and nestea have a grudge and want to really really beat the other guy. I dont think that is the case. It would not have mattered at all if naniw played amazing. people would have ignored it anyway due to the game having no meaning at all.

Here's where exhaustion plays in. If he wasn't too tired/tilted, he would have probably played as Bo1 for pride and stage experience vs Nestea, but he knew he couldn't play well enough, and wouldn't even matter. I think his only mistake is not trying hard to resign the game through the officials/admins, without playing it through.
edit: for this he only deserves minor unofficial warning with no consequences.

GOM should definatly not punish the player if no rules are broken, but if they don't want it to happen in the future you should either stop casting games like that or you need to make a rule so you can punish it.

iNcontrol's argument that it isn't okay to simply say you are tired so you don't want to play the games right? I came in half way through this discussion but i would be interested to see how he felt about IdrA not playing the IPL group stage after White-ra because he was tired and wanted to go to bed?
