A few topics of discussion suggestions:
Dreamhack, Hero, NASL Preview and casting hours for commentators, how many hours/day is reasonable?

These big events where it can get really long are once every 2 Month's or something? That should be manageable whiteout an outcry in the community . As long as people don't cry about "tired" casters after they had a 10+ hour marathon i see no issue.

If you are looking for indepth discussion than SotG is not the place for that. For a show called State of the Game, it is very lacking on knowledge of what is occuring in the game. Besides that tho, it is still fun to watch. Even tho Lo3 is suppose to be a broad Esports show, they go into more depth than any other show. Followed by FUCK SLASHER.

Don't look at it if you aren't up to date with GSL.

I believe that the quality of the cast suffers and would be better if they were well rested. Not only would they not be as tired while casting but they could also make better preparations specifically for different matchups. But I might be the only one who percieves this as a problem which is why I would like to hear the thoughts of people like JP, day0 and artosis who should have not only thoughts about this but also have quite some experience with long casting hours. /Gnarfle

It is the flying and travel that may be a problem. People can only travel so much before they burn out. Still, I think that some of these issues will be addressed over time. Painuser is a prime example of a pro who moved over to casting(but still plays). Over time, there will be more players who transition into this role, as it helps them have a stead income while still being able to complete.

Helps to have your facts straight.

Helps to have your facts straight. You mean NASL where there are a million casters for a single elimination 16 player tournament? MLG, where there was a good rotation of casters giving them many breaks? The beta streams at providence did have longer hours but I don't think that was what you were referring to there.

I love tastosis, but sometimes I grow tired of them complaining about being overworked. They work the least amount of hours in GSL compared to the Code A casters. There was a time during the summer where wolf, doa and moletrap did all of Code A, most of GSTL and some Code S. Tastosis work a few hours a day twice a week in GSL, but always complain about being overworked. The Code A casters put in way more hours than tastosis. Even during MLG people are always wondering where tastosis are because they don't cast for many hours there either and are always on breaks. I don't understand why MLG needed to use beta stream casters or guest casters for the main stream, when they hire 6 main casters. That was really strange to me. Tastosis disappear for half the day sometimes during MLGs.
