75% of the time I am unable to watch the show live so I simply listen to the audio the day after or whatever. I have experience of watching the show live (maybe 3 or 4 times) and watching the video part, but why do people obsess over the VOD so much? Why not just listen to the audio part? Is the video really so essential? In other words, what benefit do you get from watching the video that isn't there in the mp3 file?

You may have noticed that people around these parts, especially this thread, enjoy finding inane things which they complain about like serious issues. This is one of those things.

You've never listened to the mp3s and come across JP saying "There was this hilarious video/gif/picture of idra/a cat/ a shark/white_ra posted on teamliquid/reddit, here let me find it a sec and put it on stream" and realized you can't actually see what he's showing on an MP3? SotG occasionally has visual aids to help support whatever they're talking about, from pictures of the silhouettes of HotS units to tournament pools to silly pictures of dumb shit. In any case, SotG without video is kinda like SotG with Incontrol skipping every third joke. Whether or not you think that's a good thing is up to you.

Listening to it is fine, but listening and watching at the same time makes it even better.

The last bastion of supreme terran dominance has fallen and this occurred before the patch which suggest that the problem came down with the old format. Going to be intresting. Terran still 50% of Top 16. There are 3 races. You do the math.

I think husky will be a great addition, specially if day9 is there too tonight. They mix pretty well. You realize that the whole "x lost his passion!1" is a joke right?
