TV exposure of poker showed that (in the mind of many) you could become a millionaire overnight by just fooling around a couple hours with your pc. There are big, big differences between this and SC. For once, it attracted people with disposable income (=adults with jobs, not kids with free time). Then, the way a poker TV show works is that emphasis is on "balls", people throwing around huge amounts of money to show who's boss. It's easy for someone to convince himself that he can also be just as manly, while in reality the show fails to even scratch the surface of the analysis that goes behind a poker hand and how hard of a game it really is.
Imo there is little overlap between people who watch TV and people who would be interested in the sc scene.

17 mins in it also completely restarts the intro and the first like 7-8 minutes, then it skips to Tyler talking about IEM at about 24:30.

Maybe I missed something, but Tyler was going to say something about Elfi vs Idra final game but got side-tracked and never said any more about it.

For every new episode of this podcast I ask myself more and more - why am I listening to this protoss whine-fest? Ghost QQ and Tyler doing the whole moronic and brainless "omg terran don't need another unit" thing, while missing that it's a fucking expansion pack and every race is getting more units... And the hosts aren't even funny any more..
