I watched your little quip with idra on Inside the Game about the protoss in code A -- and the followup commentary you made on State of the Game with that discussion obviously fresh in your mind. You should watch the opening game of tonight's GSTL. Prime vs TSL, Bumblebee(Z) vs JYP(P). When Idra talks about the new-school protoss and the kind of warp prism innovation that's coming, this is what he's referring to. I dunno if I agree with his sentiment on balance overall but certainly colossus deathball builds have been SUPERCHARGED with this patch, with the ability to warp prism harass and hard switch into the newly-improved immortals combined with infestors being more or less ineffective against this.

So yeah I'd have to say Artosis is right, right now the existence of both SC and SC2 in Korea is creating a situation where neither might end up succeeding. But then again Americas dominance over the Sc2 scene was inevitable anyway as it is about to go mainstream over there, the money in the sport will be unlike anything we have ever seen in esports. (how far way is Huk's first Adidas commercial you think?).

jp stop playing wow and give us the vod plz Replace WoW with the BF3 Beta that he has been tweeting about playing, and you are correct! :p But in all seriousness, I have a feeling we won't see a VoD for this weeks episode, something pretty screwed up must of happened to the encoding. I recall him saying the raw footage was 94gb, which you can imagine doesn't take 10minutes to get online ^^.

Especially NA and is most likely going to far surpass Korea to the point where the best Koreans will be on foreigner teams not Korean once. And Koreans interest in esports seems to be dying. I think its interesting that people think flashes high salaries is somehow a reflection of the state of the BW industry. For me as an outsider to the BW scene it just looks like Kespa throwing money at a much bigger problem trying to stir some hype up from Flash's salaries and 3 teams being managed by the league itself is so bad I can't even imagine how it will work. So yeah I'd have to say Artosis is right, right now the existence of both SC and SC2 in Korea is creating a situation where neither might end up succeeding. (how far way is Huk's first Adidas commercial you think?). I'm sorry to say that there are a few things wrong in your post, firstly I don't see how NA is going to surpass Korea at all and quite frankly right now its just wishful thinking on your part,Koreans are going to foreign teams because of the korean teams not being able to pay these players salaries or they want to travel to play somewhere else because SC2(and only SC2)is doing poorly in Korea. Flash's high salary is not the reflection of the state of BW industry, its the fact that BW industry surviving another year of hardships of 3 teams disbanding and 5-6 new sponsors lining up to pick up the pieces, and what exactly is wrong with KeSPA managing the new teams? They are terrible match refs but not a terrible organisation, hell they are the best ESPORTS organisation to exist, and also you have to make money to throw money and KeSPA is non profit. Right now it looks like BW is going to more stable than ever while SC2 might gain some popularity in Korea if the Rumors I heard are true.

There should be more strategy talk on SotG. This week was not yet what I was hoping for but listening to the pro's talk about strategy always makes my brain happy.
