Second of all, community approval is a guideline for what's good and bad for the company (especially for an essentially entertainment-oriented company). So community approval should very much affect the decisions a company makes. Not in regards to what they want to do with their players, not at all. And no, you aren't entitled to approving or disapproving the actions of a company that you have no personal stake in. It's their business, their players, they can do whatever they want with them if it's within the guidelines of the contract that the players signed. I don't see how you feel entitled to have any sort of say in the decisions that they decide to do with their players. Yeah community approval is obviously a guideline for what's good and bad for the company, no shit. But the community does not run the company and has no power at all in how the company makes the decisions they make. If the decisions they make are bad, obviously the community will let them know (look at what this thread has turned in to). However, their decision wasn't bad, they're a company and a business. They wanted their contracted players to be featured on shows that were in some way connected with EG and their sponsors. There's absolutely nothing wrong with that at all. And, no they don't have to explain to you why they wanted to pull iNcontroL from SotG. Get over yourself.

His first step towards that objective was leave the cast of state of the game and join the cast of inside the game. Makes perfect sense to me :D!

On several occasions tyler you have insinuated that various people are immature, childish, stupid, and yet as far as I can see they have done nothing to you. They disagreed with your line of thinking on something and since then you've been in attack mode. You really have zero respect for the community of board goers here. Maybe you have good reason for that, but if that were the case I would think you would want to stay away altogether rather than allow yourself to be antagonized; or at least avoid threads where you believe the "average" (Read: dumb) TL users might be congregating. The reason I bring this up of course is because the tyler we all have seen on SOTG is a caring and thoughtful individual who considers his words, the tyler we are seeing on this forum is spiteful and haughty. I just don't understand that. It's fairly disheartening to come to this community (being fairly new) and see one of the reasons I even know about team liquid in the first place act this way.

The guys sponsors pays his bills, if your work came to you and said that you couldn't do something which was conflicting with your job, guess what, you would drop it too. If you say that you wouldn't it's cause you have never had a real job.

I am entitled to disapprove anything I want and not much anyone can do about it. You are mixing my disapproval and me having any say in the decisions of some company. As for the whole crazy thing. It was pretty clear that Incontrol was not entirely honest about the reasons from the beginning. The time coincidence was pretty funny with him starting to appear on ITG. Since his discussion with Tyler about EGMC and the whole "full picture in posting information thing" it was clear that he was on a debate team for a reason. People on debate teams are not good at discussing things, they are good at overwhelming the other side of an argument by rhetorical tricks and rhetorical bullying. But anyway this whining about EG being shady is pointless. People who dislike EG/Scoots/... for the situation have basically one way to show it and that is to vote with their eyes and not watch things on OneMoreGame and other EG related sites. Or you can just watch whatever you want. I find that apart D9D and SOTG I do not really like other shows, so I hope Incontrol's departure will not have too detrimental effect on the show, all will probably depend on suitable replacement that could mesh so well with the rest of the crew.
