It sucks, and I will most like quit listening too.

It does seem as though he could be staying on ITG over SOTG just because he does prefer the teaching aspect of it but from an outsiders perspective it just looks like a business move. Hopefully things work out and both programs can do their own thing as both are extremely helpful/entertaining to the newcomers to Starcraft such as myself.

The high point of this podcast for me was Geoff doing impersonations and everyone speaking their mind without holding back and making it feel like you were just listening to a bunch of pals hanging out at a bar discussing a game(e-sport or physical sport). Now it is 25 minutes of shouts outs an episode, and it feels like they are walking on verbal egg shells when controversial topics arise and they just dart around questions, in fear or upsetting someone. i would sig this if it fit

Edit: So stop doing it. People are going to get the wrong impression and then a bunch of dumb rumors are going to be started.

I agree. Although, it might or might not be true, but it's all because of the trolls or softies that made such a big deal because of Geoff's actions. People just don't know what is a joke.

I very much agree with this. When they were completely open was when they were the most entertaining. It hasn't completely gone downhill, but im afraid after Geoff is gone it will.

Ya this show was absolutely amazing at its peak. But it sort of turned into this thing where every1 is afraid of hurting their rep with what they say so they all started censoring themselves way too much. And a lot of the show shifted into "Well what do you guys think about X (latest piece of forum drama" Geoff, Tyler, Idra, Guest ?" What made SotG AMAZING was when every1 was on skype just hanging out laughing talking about esports as if no1 was listening. It was like sitting on a conversation of major parts of the community talk about something they loved. It was truely amazing... Without Geoff... =( this show just lost almost all of its character. Kinda interesting that this announcement came after so many of the last SotG episodes were revolved around drama more than SC2.... So saddening to hear that the reason i tune into SotG will not be doing SotG anymore after next tuesday =(. I doubt i will tune in once Geoff is gone, as his personality is the reason i started tuning in.

Sorry, I didnt mean to start any rumor or anytyhing. Maybe he's still technically part of the show, but for all intents and purposes he's gone, at lesat in my opinion. I mean, when was the last time we saw him? :/ Sure he's been busy.. but Sean is always busy. Whatever. I'm sad that alll this happeend, but I'll still watch. Or at least, give it a chance. If it sucks I guess I'll stop watching (but I dont expect htat to happen).

I'm not saying it's impossible that he's eventually going to be done, but as of this moment, there is no evidence to support that he is leaving. Now that he has MORE time to dedicate to SC2, I feel like he will be moreso inclined to be apart of it. As for Geoff leaving, I am sad. He was my favourite personality of the show, and it will be lacking his comedic presence. That being said, I am fully able to understand the sheer workload he has taken on.

He will be back and regularly attending SotG whenever it comes back from its hiatus. This is the most logical and fair assumption you could make about the situation given the information that is known.

Agreed, its pretty ridiculous to make all these claims, especially ones that are harmful towards Geoff, ie leaving for money.
