It's a bit of column A, a bit of column B. There are legitimate reasons to criticize her commentary. But when you read the comments that people make, there are clear sexist overtones to some of them.

What you are saying is absolutley correct. constructive criticisism is always legitimate, If people came up with constructive criticism it could actually help kelly improve. It is even legit to dislike a persons casting. but to throw hate on a person is always wrong and bad for the community.

There is one reason people dislike Kelly, and it's that when she talks it's ridiculously hard to understand what she's saying, on top of the fact that her game knowledge is questionable to begin with. If she didn't have an accent and was a good caster (like one of the main Korean GSL casters), no one would have any problems with her. No one is terrified of outgoing females, except for you.

There are many possible reasons to dislike kellys casting, but there is absolutley no reason to write hateful comments or death threats thowards her. It is totally legit to dislike her casting, but there is no reason to publicly dislike her as a person. Do you see the difference here? you can dislike whoever you want for whatever reason you like, but do not write hateful messages thowards them or about them on a public internet forum.

I think some of the issue is that since most of the participants only have time for or choose to watch a handful of tournament games a week, they end up discussing overall tourney results and not interesting or enlightening games in those tournaments, and their potential implications.
Ya, for me that just adds to the frustration. Even if only one person saw like the first game of a tournament, everyone has to talk about it. It's not like these guys don't do anything Starcraft related, and I'm more interested in what they have spent the week working on then just re-iterating tournament results.
I just really feel that the show is heading in the wrong direction, and wanted to share that.

I've watched every one (usually from archives, unfortunately), and I also enjoy more discussion about current strategies and high level play.
