it's pathetic everyone in the match is poised over the loading screen, desperate to itch their nose, but you can't scratch your nose because you know that the second you raise your hand the last guy will finish loading instantly and you'll f*ck your build order.

What also would be nice, if you could see your mouse (at least for the small countdown). It happend a few times, that I moved my mouse and as the game starts it instantly started scrolling in some direction :D.

I think a useful feature to have would be to change the profile ladder win/loss format. It should state Win: X and Lose: Y and Total games: Z. Currently it just shows the total number of games played and wins, meaning you have to do some calculation in order to find out the win ratio. eg Total games: 25 Wins: 18. Wouldn't it be much clearer to see Win: 18 Lose: 7 Total: 25

So both bars are fully loaded, but the game doesn't start, because some of the observers are still loading. This is the reason i primarily want this, right now who gets the better start (although it's a minor difference, but still) comes down to reaction time, I don't think I know of any other sport where this is the case. Of course, reaction time should be a factor during the game, but players should be ready. Imagine 100m sprint where the ref didn't do a countdown and just said go.

Mind unblown, but the countdown is pointless as it is, and having one that actually ends with the game starting would be useful.

Mind = blown? you can't cancel if you click accidentally anyway... you have to quit. besides, i don't think anyone is bothered about the countdown to going onto the loading screen, the fact is that you should have a countdown to signal the match start so you're not forced to lock up for up to a minute if someone is a slow-ass loader am i crazy or did broodwar have a countdown?
