Omg this thread is so funny.

I remember back when metalopolis still was in the map pool, it was a TvT, he had contained for at least 5 minutes, i realized that he would start expanding a bunch so just decided to go for it. It turned out that he had really bad upgrades to my 2-2 on my bio and 2-0 on my tanks. He went mech so i thought that getting marines was going to be useless. Boy was i wrong. I managed to break his contain with ease, he had nothing left, i had basically half my army left so i went for his natural and main, killing everything (except workers, he had evacuated them), his OB's, his production, everything. During all of this i bm'ed him by telling him it was over and that he should just gg and stop wasting my time. I go to the gold base and see a PF and a bunch of turrets, I had about 5 tanks, 15 marauders and 1 thor and thought I could take it out, turns out my marauders get stuck in the turrets and my tanks and thor cant participate in the battle and have to back off. All of a sudden, I see e fleet of banshee's about 15 of them, it's not even funny, killing absolutely everything, I am now on 4 bases, with the only mining base in the middle, and his banshee's kills it off, and i realized I had lost. Was so embarrasing, and he responded with "what was that about gg'in?

"

I deserved it.

I have one in particular that sticks out in my head from waaaaay long ago, so long ago that shakuras still had a ramp and destructible rocks in the back of the main. I was a total nub at this point and was just getting used to scouting. I found him and saw an early pool and was so excited that this was one scout that I could read well. I was so excited that I built a shit-ton of bunkers instead of just making more marines. He was late with his attack considering how early his pool was so I just happily continued on making bunkers at the front of my base.

And then he hit my worker line... after destroying the back rocks that I didnt scout.... FML

Game 2 of a three game series in one of the NESC2 qualifiers, I had lost game one. I went for early Voids into a Warp Prism FF the ramp play on Metropolis vs a Zerg player. Everything was going great, Voids did a bunch of damage and had cleared the path for the Warp Prism to get in without being scouted, I got the Sentries down, hit the FF on the ramp and tried to Warp-in... and realized I forgot to research Warp Gate.

I lost the game was eliminated.

You and every other diamond- zerg eh?

Im actuly finding PvZ to be a lot easier matching against masters because people dont blindly drone to 80 without scouting any more, and although there are almost no free wins to all ins (that was like 70% of my diamond pvz's, free wins, not even close) it is completely made up by not being down 30 workers when you are taking a third because people are not taking massive, massive risks

I was in a base race in pvp and had only one pylon left, my opponent had an assimilator on the other side of the map. I thought I got lucky because I had an observer left while he had none so I could watch his army.
Turns out he'd warped in 2 DTs right before I killed his gates and I'd thought he wouldn't do that because I had an observer.
Well. He killed my MTFKN pylon.

i went for 4gate rush in a pvp match, then my first zealot and stalker were stuck in between my pylon, gateway, and cyb core.

my opponent walked into my base and laughed.
