It happened like in beta, but I just recently remembered it.
Was a tvp on blistering and I opened ghost marine fe, I got up a sizeable army of bio with some ghosts/medivacs and vikings since he is going collossi. I then start thinking that he probably has an observer near my army scouting me, so I think that I should scan to kill it but then I think to myself "if i emp my army I can see if an obs is nearby!" what didnt occur to me was that the emp would take away the energy of my ghosts and medivacs. I managed to drain all my energy and cripple my army, didnt see an obs though. I waited for several tense minutes while my energy came back to see if he was gonna push and roflstomp me.

When I first started playing SC2, I was pretty good (watched a lot of Day9, HD, Huskey, GSL, etc.) So I quickly ranked to diamond. When in diamond I started having trouble, and eventually I was on the ropes, barely holding on to my diamond league rank. It came down to the point where if I lost 1 more game I'd be demoted.

It just so happened to be a ZvZ, and I don't remember what strategy I was using, but I was winning. I was winning HARD. I had a superior econ and superior military. All my opponents attacks had failed and blown up in his face, and I was going in for the kill.

I get to my opponent's ramp, seconds from victory when... "waiting on server" ... I get disconnected. Re-log in and I'm plat. FML.

Recent PvZ i was in. Destroyed his natural FE with a huge force and lost almost nothing. Went on to take an expansion right after, and was way ahead. Then when I was about to push out, his Mutas came in. 1-base Muta FTW? Of course, being an idiot, I had 4 Stalkers vs his 9 Mutas. He took out ALL my Probes, and I lost because I had forgotten to make more Stalkers. FML

it was in a tournament with money prize on it. Game 3 tied at 1-1. TvP
I was building my first rax and i accidently canceled it. I ended up losing cuz i couldnt recover due to lack of early pressure against toss. Amulet fucked me over but that wasnt the reason i lost. Reason i lost was cuz of canceling rax, like what day9 said.

Happened to me a couple weeks ago
My 200/200 Deathball is advancing on the Terran army, he only has a couple dozen marine/marauder and medivac, maybe 120 food, and 1 mining expansion against my three.
Suddenly, my observer sees 4 ghosts. Feedback? EZPZ. High templars start zapping: 1 dead ghosts, 2 dead ghosts, not enough. Then: EMP's. EMP's everywhere. He stim-1a roflstomps my now useless collosi/ht army and I throw my keyboard at the wall.

Had a massive deathball(including carriers) and pushed out.
after killing all his naturals, coming up against very little defense army, realised about 15 reapers doing what reapers do best at my probe lines :'(
Ended up being a base trade.

met a random with a protoss picture some days ago and thought I would rush him with my latest strategy against protoss. little did I know that he was random and got zerg -_-

Massing marines believing I could be cool and just power through banelings (this was before I found out about spreading them lol) and I lost all 120 supply of marines to like 20 banelings. It was awful

I watched Cella proxy hatch on Scrap Station only to later find out a fan vent blocked in his units and prevented them from moving out resulting in him attacking his proxy hatch while his Protoss opponent sniped his roaches with superior range.

every match against terran: I get an early lead, but due to a singular tank I cant proceed to, as day9 would say "go fucking kill him", so I start the starve-him-out strategy while teching to [insert appropriate techpath], 20 minutes and 10 drops later, I have 5 base vs his 2, a 200/200 army of some kind, and he rolls through everything with his 200/200. -.- that makes me sad and frustrated.

i did a zergling attack. my lings killed all but maybe 5 or 6 scvs and we were both 2 base. it forced him to have to just charge onto the creep and go for an all in. so just as he gets to my expo i pull back my 20ish banelings to wait for my zerglings to come out so i can crush his force ( it wasn't that big , i could handle it fine). So the lings pop and i dont want any of them to be picked off randomly so i highlight em as they pop out of the hatch and then move them back; however, i accidentally clicked on my hatchery and all my banelings ran into my hatchery and killed themselves... LOL soooo yeah he just ran in with about 30 marines and no siege tanks (it was blistering sands and i got his rocks down without him knowing thats why the ling harass was so effective). so yeah, should've been an easy easy win and then i accidentally shoot myself in the face, not even the foot... the face. lol. i dont think ill ever forget that moment lol. it was so ridiculous that i even couldnt stop laughing.

I play on windowed mode so i can switch to the game right when it starts. However when going back to SC i need to click on the screen so i can actually do stuff. I forgot this in a tournament game ( i think it was craft cup or something like that ) so i had to 6 pool and lost immediatly . FML

Opponent goes 1-1-1, I go 2rax expand. I send out my first marines, do some damage and build up an army. Stim, concussive and shields finish, 1 attack on the way. Opponent expands. I intercept a slow tank push, destroying all but one tank(which he held back at his natural). I retreat, expand and get a few medivacs. A marine drop in my opponents main kills a few SCVs and two tanks.

Then he sieges up at my natural and it's gg, because I only notice it the moment his 10 tanks open fire on my bio-ball, killing it almost instantly while his vikings snipe my medivacs.

1 went 10 pylon 10 gate against this terran and instead of attacking my zealot with his scvs and 2 marines he was attacking his reactor by accident while i killed like 5 scvs

Was doing a marine - Scv all in, took down 3 spine crawlers before they finished and his two queens and all the workers in his expansion. Then as i went up the ramp 6 zerglings flanked my SCV first, push into his main and dominated my marines.

I engaged a PF with 20 roaches pre-1.2. FML.
I moved 30 clumped mutas in range of 3 thors for half a second. FML.

Oh, and today I played a ZvP on jungle basin. FML.
