Can't be done, Blizzard doesn't provide that kind of information. However, it's likely to be a single race about 70% of the time, another race 29% of the time, and then the remaining race 1% of the time with how the random selector works.

Bug with caching, it's fixed.

Is it possible to list someones vs race win %'s? Like TvZ, TvT, TvP, etc.? That'd be sick 0.0 or possibly map win %'s as well

Woah David Kim is so high up there :D
Being random and number 5 in the world has to make him to greatest player ever.

No that data is not available.

The mass team data API is now in letting you pull all teams for up to 50 characters at once: http://sc2ranks.com/api
Region and world ranking is now available for all team APIs without a special argument for it, including the mass API. For speed, these are precached by a cron and updated every 24 hours. So the downside is they aren't 100% accurate to the points, but they also make it easier for me to expose to APIs without the server crying.

That's not David Kim.

Shadowed I noticed that whenever you do a search for a Korean player and then look at their profile, and then you try to search for another player it defaults to North America. I think it'd be better if the location selection sticks with your last search location or defaults to Global.

How will sc2ranks be affected when the name change function comes in? Will it just be a case of the name will change on the rankings or will there be further issues? Could it potentially really screw up the current ranking system?

People are already renaming without the free changes and it hasn't really effected rankings.
Since divisions have 100 people in them, even if say 75 of those renamed you can still find their new names by checking the division listings for any of the 25 people. All the cron updaters are already setup to auto-find people based off someone else in their division if they renamed.
It depends on the person, someone in the top 100 1v1 diamond will have their new name found within 20 minutes. People who are at the lower end of a division might take anywhere from an hour to 24 hours at most. If someone was that worried about their character being updated after a rename, they could also enter the new battle.net URL manually and it'll fix the name.

It works fine for me. I'm guessing it's something your browser is doing that stops it from selecting the appropriate region.

It's working now for me as well.

Shadowed if you do a search for a popular name like Neo, it'll show a big result (something like 9 pages for North America, 24 for Global), but when you hit the arrow to go to the next page, the search box text Neo changes to 100 and says cannot find any players
A nice feature would be if the results also indicated how many players it found.

Maby it's common knowledge, but question: who is that Select guy? (nr.1 or 2 in Global)

Aware that site is down, I'm out and don't have my private key with me so I can't SSH in and debug the issue. Seeing if I can get in somehow.

Welp can't do much right now, will get back as soon as I can to bring it bac up, but not sure how soon that will be.
