No, they aren't viable. The poor guy didn't know the most efficient way to attack an SCV building something (a-click past the building). He supply blocked himself at 18 when he had nothing else to doi that... building pylons. The points on this site are directly transferred from battle.net when you upload a replay. And @ you comment, YOU are the one that's wrong actually.P cannons are the wrong thing to do, I NEVER lose when they go for cannons. People just knows nothing about the reaper, thats what mainly makes the strat strong. The way to react accordingly without losing: Do NOT care about minerals. Make all your scvs focus down my gassers instantly, take your own gas and a cyber core, make a stalker>win. It's easy to say "u need cannons and the placement was bad" - I've got my replay folder full with 2,7k protosses beaten by this, all my wins are vs cannons. The thing is you can't cover your base in cannons, there's always gaps for me to get in and kill something, wheather its probes or the nexus itself or his gateway. If he has enough cannon to block me off from his nexus area and behind, I'll make 1-2 marauders and make them tank the damage while I take down 1-2 cannons.

^^^^ Reapers against a high platinum on metalopolis, shows what happens when the zerg goes roaches. Also shows that you CAN recover from what some call an all in.

Orbital Command costs 150 minerals. You might be thinking of Planetary Fortress, which costs 150/150.

Basically I didn't notice that game was started and I put my probes work ~8secs too late. Then I decide to do something very risky 16nexus, but he spawns close position so I cancel nexus and tech up and go 4-gate. When I try to attack he has too big force defending and I immediatelly go back and expand. Then I mass big army from 4-gates and he decides to go 1-base all-in with SCV's, but I just rape the attack ._... lol:D

sup everyone, this is my first post on this forum I think...... anyways, i was a diamond player and am now gold, because of a long layoff... but this game I have no idea how the income was so messed up, mine is at like 600 his is at like 900, and we have the same amount workers, i cant spot anything wrong....

Err, when he attacked through your backdoor, he went for your mineral line, and killed around 60% of your total workers. You lost mining time, and had to waste a lot of minerals replacing your SCVs. That's where you lost the game.

You should have had a spotter depot at the rocks a lot sooner to allow you to react quicker. And if worse comes to worse, just run your workers away, preferably towards your army. It's as simple as that.

yeah, all that is true, however there is a very specific weirdness in the income between 6:30 and 8:00 where i havnt attacked yet, I have 3 more harvesters, but his income is around 900 and mine is at like 650, and im not saying its a hack or a glitch but wtf man, i have no explanation for it...

Very good replay, I recommend all zergs watch. I even learned a few things.

1) it takes two infested Terrans to kill an OL
2) Hydras melt Ultras
3) (I knew this) Banelings melt Hydras (very clutch move in the game you should see)
4) If you can sneak in 5 zerglings you can take down a greater spire!

Overall just an awesome game.
