This replay should be named "nydus hell". Mystic abuses mid-lategame zerg to it's very fullest. Mystics lategame play is simply unparalleled, but Chita puts up an amazing fight. I would have tapped out well before he did.

14nexus play by genius into some of the best stalker control ever.

I still think Chita should've gotten more upgrades....the zerg was maxed on upgrades very "soon" (well, soon considering the game nearly goes on for an hour) while Chita was only at 2 armor and 1 shield at the end; also I didn't understand why Chita didn't get a stargate to do some harassment on his own part; but well, maybe you need even more than 200 apm to pull this off, not sure what he could've done though; hopefully people stop complainign about nydus worms after seeing this replays; they are just so incredible it's not even funny; not OP though

Chita made mistakes, sure, but that shouldn't detract from the playstyle that mystic employed. Both side were making errors imo! Mystic is a zerg with lots of potential from the reps I've seen of his.

Chita didnt used cb after 5 minute mark in a 1 hour long game ( actually just once i think , after he lost all his tech buildings)

I didnt watched Mystic carefully but i think he didnt used larva spawn even once after early game.

Chita tried to wall of his natural in metalapolis with 1-2 units behind ; which let Mystic to get 3rd base before 10 minute.

Chita tried to fight mass roaches with burrow , with 0 observers and only storms for 5 minutes while roaches killing his main base. gazillions of storms wasted. (he had around 20 ht with full energy , spammed storms everywhere , still managed to miss roaches generally) then he builded a robo and created 4 obs. those 4 observer stayed in the base untouched for at least 30 minutes.

Chita let a creep tumor live for like 5 minutes IN his expansion. ( while 4 obs sitting idle in his ruined main base) and even parked his army on it for a while.

lots of other smaller things , 15 idle worker for 5 minute , running away 10 ultra from mass stalker&ht army , 2 infestation pits etc etc.

Late game was almost campaign mode material with all those nydus worms popping up everywhere

I completely agree. That game sucked. The toss reminds me of every toss on the ladder: incapable of doing anything but spamming T to victory. a 50 minute game against zerg that has 0 anti air and all he can manage to do is spam stalkers and HT. He couldn't even be bothered to build any immortals.

I really want to know how these guys get to the point where for the first 12 minutes of the game, they can pump out nothing but drones and 3 hatcheries without being punished.

Seriously. When the toss finally decides to "switch tech", he decides to get colossus vs ultralisks and broodlords. Whaaaaat?

And frankly, why didn't the toss just roll over the zerg at 14 minutes after he destroyed the expo? Could have saved me 35 minutes.

Despite all the tricks the zerg tried to pull with burrowed roaches and mass nydus, I can't help but feel underwhelmed that despite all his efforts, he still couldnt face the protoss army. It takes him 50 minutes to win the game (almost barely because he never gets his gas saturated again in any of his bases. He's got 6 drones on one geyser in mid and 0 on the other. The other bases are just sitting there). Really, all the toss had to do was build immortals for the roaches and ultras or just push at the 14 minute mark.

Really, that game sucked. The zerg couldn't be bothered to spawn larva for the last 30 minutes, Toss didn't need CB and couldn't build a single other unit in the protoss arsenal.

Worst game ever.
