Like SC 2 uses 0% of your cpu and you can move around the map, but game just basically freezes. You can even go into options etc., but when you try to surrender, it won't do anything. Basically you have to control-alt-delete. I've never had this happen before, just wondering if anyone else getting the same thing with this new patch. Kinda annoying as I've lost a placement match and 2 ladder matches because of this already. Lol just as I was writing this, I managed to get dropped with the message "unable to load screen" after the long (>5 min) wait time. | ||

does anyone else have a problem where it says your video card is out dated when everything worked great not that long ago? I have that same problem and I also have the "cannot download authentication...." it's annoying because I don't even have one tied to my account....cannot log in at all because of this error. Anybody know how to fix? Other option of course is just not being able to play until patch to fix the latest patch comes out  Edit: Found the fix to the authentication error, simply uncheck the remember account box before logging in. | ||

Who knows though, maybe they're testing this like a microcosm of the launch and the capacity will be increased relative to the user increase. | ||

That happened to me, I just had to end the program in ctrl alt delete, then opened it up again and the problem was solved. | ||

Everyone else in the game also freezes, but it does let you leave the game eventually without having to restart SC2 if the one of the players restarts. | ||

My first game, the other guy was lagging hard every time we had any sort of battle. Second game it lagged out and stopped after about 1 minute. Third game I was lagging, and I never lag. My opponent said it's been happening all day cuz of the patch. | ||
