I don't understand why they can't stick to the WC3 system, one key, one account login, but freedom of server choice for that one login. This is going to suck for many of us who has friends in multiple countries, especially for the TL community being so international.

What? You want me to get every Aussie I play with (and their friends) and anyone I meet on an Aussie gaming forum who say "hey, who is up for a quick game?" to migrate. Unless migration is a sub 2 minute procedure then I'm sorry but your post is basically not cutting it. This is a bandaid on a problem which shouldn't exist.

It basically means that if I want to be competitive, I'm not going to be able to play with any of my irl friends - unless I buy a second key. Latency has never been an issue for me, I've had sub150ms in WoW for the past ages and though latency in SC2 is noticeable, I've become used to it. There shouldn't be an either-or to this, I should be able to do both.

It's good that a more local server is becoming an option (although pings to SE asia aren't that great from here anyway). It's a disaster that we're being told to abandon our international friends because we can't change servers.

I'm sorry you didn't like my story, but that's no reason to be so bellicose. Thanks for that LOST link, I haven't watched the show but I think I'll start now, it looks good.

![]() I don't get why one could say this retarded move is for the better..In SC1 latency from Australia to US East/West has always been very good - only slightly worse than ICCup and LAN. Unless you're Jaedong, I'm pretty fucking sure 99% of future SC2 players in Australia won't even be able to tell the difference. In all seriousness I really doubt Blizzard would be that stupid not to leave gateway selection as optional. Maybe they will leave that for the expansion but that'd sound like a very cheap move.

I mean we are THE biggest population in the world(thanks to China's Birth control measures) We at least DESERVE to be part of that list. India to Singapore= 50 ping India to AUS = 440 ping Big difference.... India to US =220 ping. :p

How could Blizzard do this to the game? Playing with players from all the servers is the thing that made brood war a great game.. we wants to see top american vs top eropeans vs top asian players!. We need that.. I hope that hopping from a realm to another will be only a matter of time T.T (This issue is going to make me more worried day by day)

India is South Asia. | ||
