I was thinking port, seeing the 5 digit numbers. With the way NAT boxes work this makes sense. I just didn't continue that thought, was obsessed with overly complex solutions.

I think the contest was interesting and all, but how were people who are unfamiliar with ports able to solve this? The winner had to download netcat and then input the numbers in, but not many people could have known to do that in order to win. =/
