As you know at the origin of this beautiful website is the most awesome SC team ever which still houses legendary players like Froz, Satanik, Daaman, Drone, Nony, our creator Liquid`Meat and a great many others that have made their marks in BW history. For a long time Drone was the only remaining active member until Nony joined in October 2008. Though I'm sure living in the colds of Norway between lovely mountains and fjords is an excellent preparation for lots of loneliness; Nony bringing back some life to the team was a welcome change. Check the Liquipedia for some additional info about the members and its history.
With SC2 coming out Liquid is picking it up another notch and with that come awesome new members. This posts welcomes FrozenArbiter aka Jinro and TheLittleOne aka TLO. Liquid`TLO and probably Liquid`Jinro will be their IDs.
Jonathan "FrozenArbiter-Jinro" Walsh
FA is one of the earliest members of this website joining in 2002. He has nearly 30000 quality posts and amazingly enough has been the head moderator of the SC2 forum for a long time without burning out. With insane dedication that deserves respect from everyone on TL he moderated that forum to perfection and hosted a lot of the Beta Key invite contests. This involvement with SC2 has proven the perfect bridge to becoming a top player in SC2. Jinro has been doing well in both ladder and tournaments, recently beating the likes of Lucifron in Zotac and Naugrim in the TLI. One of the best Terrans in the world without a doubt and many great results to come.

I first met TLO when I was playing an exhibition match in Germany for SC. An exhibition match you say? When the hell would that be. Well that was 8 years ago when TLO was 12 years old when I was taking up matches against anyone in the audience at WCG Germany (no I'm not German). I had no idea this kid I played back then grew up to be such an excellent RTS player and it was fun to hear this story when we were playing some weeks ago. Before SC2 TLO played Supreme Commander at a high level even managing to take down high profile live events such as the I-Power Games Lissabon 2007. TLO was invited to the Team Liquid Invitational for his talented and creative play. Needless to say he didn't disappoint. In spectacular fashion he disposed of Morrow, DeMuslim and unfortunately myself.
Congratulations to both these guys. I see what happened here Naz, "these guys beat me... better invite em to the team!" =)
In terms of team structure, what is this going to mean for Liquid? It always seemed to me that Liquid had a much looser structure than a "traditional" gaming team, such as mouz or SK let's say. Is TL ramping that up for SC2 and becoming more "official" now?
Also I forgot Froz joined... that guy should come back for SC2!

Very cool, congrats! When I read TLO's bio and he said he'd been playing BW since age 11 I was a little "really?" but yeah, great player to watch! Hope this means we'll see more of his creative play in the near future!
Awesome post dedicated to two well deserving players. Congrats to both of you, and damn you guys make matches soooo interesting to watch! Hopes for the best and keep playing and dominating XD
Awesome! FA has always been a great guy and TLO sounds like a good addition as well.
One question: With SC2, there are probably going to be a lot more sponsored teams outside of Korea and a lot more people will have the chance to be sponsored. Since I can't imagine Liquid` pays its members, will the members be allowed to join a second, sponsored, team? Or are you simply counting on everyone choosing the glory of TL over money? :p
edit: Now I think of it, Eri was eriador[pg] back then, so unless you're planning on changing something, I guess they will be allowed?
Wow! Congratulations to FA and TLO on joining the most prestigious team in the world of Starcraft 2. Wear your Liquid' tags proudly guys, I'm sure you wont disappoint.
Also, it's great to see the Liquid' team picking up steam again. I really look forward to seeing more from all of you.

I stopped playing seriously in late 2006, but I reached A~A+ (I mostly dropped back down to A when I reached A+, and I shared my account with a friend so I'd probably call it an A on my part, since I played on it until A then we shared) on PGTour (ICCUP predecessor).
But that was ages ago and in absolute skill terms A in 2006 is a lot different from A in 2010~~
i thought too that FA was already a member, since he has mod rights (or am i wrong???). anyway FA is so nice + he is swedish and i fucking love swedish people, because they are sooo nice/GM people =)

It's important to point out that there is a clear difference between www.teamliquid.net staff members and Team Liquid` players.

Vs his terran? Nah, it was pretty good. In the beginning I think he usually beat me, then I got better at PvT and usually beat it if my memory is correct. This was a long while back tho.
Btw, my like.... first game vs a Dream.t player after joining was vs Dream.t)HyuN, and I won PvZ 8D
Then he was like "gg, re", beat me, repeated the "gg, re?"... repeat this 5 times Games got progressively less close too haha
I just remember game 1 getting ahead with a 2 gate zealot opening on Luna, then game 2 being kinda close then it starting to not be so close. This was before HyuN turned pro tho.

To be honest, since Liquid does not actively compete on the foreigner scene (thus membership in it is symbolic at best), I can see why people would mix the two together.
FA is one of the best mods here, definitely. He deserves all the attention he is getting on SC2 as a great player, and to be honest I was surprised he was so good when I first started watching his reps.
Out of curiosity, which Liquid` members are currently playing in the beta? Is is just FrozenArbiter, TheLittleOne, NonY, Nazgul, and Eriador? Any other old BW members that are playing in it on a more casual level?
Yeah huge congratz! This is really awesome to see you guys coming back. I'm def a fan of TLO and hope to see you guys doing some clan wars and really getting into the swing of things.
Grats to both, FA has been a great moderator and the games of his I have caught are interesting to watch. I don't know anything about TLO other than this recent liquibition but woots to seeing more! TL fighting!
I see Liquid`Satanik on there, he is retired correct? I know he used to play for Get.and was an amazing player, what happened to him? I'd like to know, if anyone knows please post.
