Seriously though, this daily was amazing. I mean, I had thought about some of these things before, I had some of these ideas floating around. But Sean just pulled it all together into some very simple and tight concepts that are going to be an amazing help for how I think about and organize my team stuff.

In contrast to today's daily, I wonder what people think about dividing your forces more. After all, if one player is constantly harassing and being annoying, it can buy time for the other player to just macro up a massive, potent army. Allowing one player to devote his attention to one side of things, while the other one tries the other side of things. I think it would be interesting.

I don't know what this was in response to, but Day9 wasn't burnt out or anything. The replays just weren't very good and he knew it. So Day9 decided to put on more of a show. Which is entertaining, but in some cases it just wasn't what people wanted to see. They wanted to see some fun starcraft matches.

Personally, I thought Day9 did a great job with what he had. I'm glad he didn't cancel it because honestly it was a lot of fun. I do hope the next fundays have more interesting games though.

Day9 doesn't seem to know you can watch a replay in 1st person by going to their camera (using the 1 or 2 number keys) and not touching the mouse. It seems like this isn't widely known since I couldn't find a thread on it.

He talked about looking for 1st person VODs the other day (while coaching djWheat), but those are already in replays!

First person in a replay is very different than a true FPVOD. Seeing how someone is using their mouse and such is I think more what he is looking for.

I've been struggling to watch the dailies as blip.tv keeps messing up on me, I've tried chrome,firefox, and ie all not being able to jump where i want to in streaming mode. Anyone have the same problem?

Same here. Blip.tv works fine, except for jumping in the video. Yesterday, I was watching the funday monday and wanted to skip a few seconds back, because I didn't hear what day[9] said. The whole thing stopped working. Now I'll have to start over and let it run for 30 minutes so I can continue watching from where I stopped. Or wait for the youtube version.

Other than that, the daily was great fun!

yeah, Blip.tv pretty much sux for jumping in the vid.

like for rewatching some special part of a daily.

there is youtube yeah, but its not so fast on the updates

Just wondering, does anyone know why Day9 uses BlipTV? The skipping function never works properly for me on there. I usually end up having to just download the flash file and watch it locally.

Why hasn't he just switched over to Youtube completely?

Blip has always worked perfectly for me.
IMO youtube has more problems than blip.

Blip > youtube.

Being able to download the episodes without using 3rd party software off youtube is awesome for me. Much rather watch the daily without skipping or buffering lag. Besides you can always use a download manager and cap your download on blip if you really want the daily super fast.
