Lol they only started watching cause I saw my replay in the list. My dad came home and I was supposed to make dinner but I told him I wasn't cause I was watching the stream. So me my brother and his girlfriend, and my dad all watched it. My moms gonna watch it when it goes up on blip. I felt quite manly being the final replay, then I had to go make dinner and unclog a toilet :/ | ||

This game has possibly the only carrier vs. carrier battle I've ever found in a replay (I personally have never been in a carrier vs. carrier battle despite building them every game. The gist is my opponent decided to go for 1 carrier + MS + 4 cannons (i wonder if the battle could have come out differently if he had 4 stalkers + 1 carrier + 1 MS instead of cannons), and I have an upgraded carrier (+1 attack) with graviton and 9 stalkers Granted neither of us really played super good (just a custom game to relax after a long day studying medicine), but the sheer hilarity is worth it. EDIT: a test in unit tester has been done. When both side micro perfectly, the carrier + 9 stalker wins When both side attack move, the carrier + 9 stalker seems to win still | ||

However from messing around alot I might actually have a decent rush, I just don't have the micro to make it effective. If you make an Ass on 10 before gateway then provided you do not spend gas you'll have the exact amount of gas required to get all the tech required for a carrier. Sync completion of your second Ass to coincide with the Stargates completion / beacons starting to have the exact gas for a carrier. Hopefully the above helps someone actually "rushing" carriers instead of getting them after something else. | ||

With YABOT, the fastest Carrier I can make is around 6:55mins~ (constant chronoboost on Carrier, for comparison sake, fastest battle cruiser can be built around 6:25mins~) , this is grabbing early double gas, by the time I start building the Carrier I end up with 16 probes on minerals (reach that when fleet beacon starts building) and 6 on gas, with that I have around 300minerals to spare and 0 gas (no gas for upgrade lol), I'm so scared to try this on ladder lol, might have to go for some cheesy voidray play into Carriers. Wish we could expand once with going Carriers  , playing against my Brother he managed to expand 2 times and did a prod with units from only two gates and crushed me, I didn't realize Carriers were so weak, going Carriers from a single base, I ended up with around 50 supply 9:30mins~ in where as my Brother had around 80-90 lol..Anyone got any replays of this succeeding so far  ? | ||
