I have a suggestion for a Day[9]Daily. I tend to watch as many as I can (and also some replays and other commentaries) now that I'm not doing anything because of the fantastically huge amount of free time that vacations give me and many many times I've thought of MACROing and how its supposed to be done. I know your macro has to be executed depending on your overall strategy and goal. I know macro is how you build and produce. Actually I have heard Day[9] talking about it several several times (actually it would be very strange if he didn't). The suggestion is more directed to SHOWING macro-ing both out-of-game adn in-game. When I say out-of-game I refer to the kinds of things to be taken care of with the keyboard for example. How to be efficient with it by showing us IT as the overall activity it is. There are many many threads about MACRO I'm sure. But honestly I yet haven't seen yet any sort of educational footage about it (I'm sure theres plenty of macro to be seen in videos of pros playing a tournament or something). Why educational? I consider the Day[9]Daily to be very useful for learnign purposes. So overall the suggestion is to show macroing in a not-pro-gamer friendly way. Maybe it won't be enough for a whole daily but maybe it will. Macro-ing is such a dense concept. And please don't get me wrong. I'm not saying there's a special dance or anything or a specific type of hat you should wear when macro-ing. Finally I wanted to specify my main reason for this. I, as stated earlier, am a newcomer in starcraft. Starcraft 2 is bringing many as myself along and I'm sure there will be a lot that will be in the same posture as I am. As of today I still have many problems with macro and many other different issues that I tend to solve by instructing myself with videos and replays and threads. So, what do you guys think? What do you think Day[9]? Any constructive critiscism or suggestions? Possible? thx all and greetings from Colombia, South America.

If it bothers you, you can download the video itself and use Media Player Classic (or other players, I would assume...) and use Audio Time Shift to get it in sync. You just click "Play" in the top menu, then "Audio", then "Options" and click the box for "Audio Time Shift" and experiment with the number. Both D9D #138 and #139 can be "set right" by using an audio time shift around 270ms. Just make sure that when you're done, you go back into Play>Audio>Options and unclick the Audio Time Shift box before you close... It's easy to forget that you have the option set, and it carries over the next time you use the program.[/QUOTE]

Build orders can be learned/copied from progames but the way you use your keyboard is very individual. In the end it all comes down to practice in the game and making it feel good for you I don't think something like showing the keyboard while playing the game would be any good (but would be fun to watch^^) so if u have so much free time get yourself a practice partner(best someone around your own skill level) when beta comes back on and just practice, practice, practice!

The player just keeps trying to load. After hitting the fast forward button the following message appears: ERROR INVALID FEED: The feed URL appears to be invalid. Please check that the URL of the feed is valid and that the feed itself has a valid syntax. I had the same problem before. It was one of the recent dailies and he screwed up the coding. It was fixed for a while until now. If this isn't the thread to post tech problems in please point me in the right direction.

Showing the keyboard might not be THAT helpful. I'm actually checking out one of the daily s that Pertinacious suggested number 132. And definitely I'll try finding a practice partner for beta phase two. Again, thx for the support.

It was determined that the build was so good it would literally destroy all of SC2 from existence if it was made public. The video has been locked away at a government warehouse and they're busy making an alternate video to release. This is also why the beta was shut down.

If not, I believe the first 20 minutes (2 parts) of #114 are up on youtube.
