I have an i7-950 with gtx 470, 1 masters account and I got an invite last night. So I think there is a wave going out. The only note is my video card gets really hot playing the beta. It is fine with WOL. | ||

Back in the days i was part of the WoL beta with an crappy Core 2 Duo / Intel integrated graphics. So to me it seems quite random these days. Only thing, last time you got 2 beta keys and could invite friends, not this time, i think its due to all the beta key sellers. Oh and currently there is only 1v1 ladder and custom games, so no chance to play "competative" XvX matches. | ||

Well the game is balanced for 1 v 1 so there is no reason to include any other mode, team shit was only in wol beta to help test the netcode when there are more than 2 players in a game. | ||

To be eligible for a beta invite, you must be signed up for the beta on the bnet beta page and you must meet the minimum system requirements. After that it is simply random. It does not matter if you are masters or bronze. I bet it does not even matter if you own or hvae been active in SC2. | ||
