Should bet on himself, he is limiting himself blabla, so many lost opportunities/earnings... That's not how it went. The discussion starts with Sharkie arguing the contract is a lose-lose-lose, you not agreeing, and then everyone debates the pros and cons of long contracts for clubs and players. There were multiple people who thought it was a good deal for Mudryk. https://tl.net/forum/sports/596890-2022-2023-football-thread?page=68

At least financially it’s a good deal for Mudryk if he plays terribly because he’s still on a long term contract and decent wages for years. He’s undoubtedly a better player than this, whatever is going on with him he had an actively good game initially and fell off a cliff. They’re human beings end of the day, Chelsea being a basket case last season where almost nobody played well certainly didn’t help. Being the hundred million player playing terribly just puts a bigger spotlight on you. If he went to Arsenal I’d wager he’d be at least a decent Prem operator by now, if perhaps not worthy of that kind of fee. Still think they’re going to challenge for Europe and Poch is a more accomplished coach than Big Ange (thus far) mind :p

Last game was a shitshow, their first two games were pretty decent. I’d pick Chelsea over Spurs every day of the week if I was playing FIFA or Football Manager, not sure I would when I’m dealing with actual humans. If Chelsea would just stop signing new players their coaches clearly haven’t requested every 5 minutes it would serve them well. If there’s a lesson from the last 10/15 years of football it’s there is no substitute for cohesive planning from top to bottom of a club. The Boehly way of doing things has already swallowed up an accomplished operator in Tuchel and a promising coach on the upward curve in Potter. Perhaps Poch is the latest in that increasingly ignominious line, perhaps he figures how to make it work. Ange has in ways the easier job. They’ve sold a talisman, not a huge amount is expected and they’ve signed decent players to a sensibly sized and settled squad. Poch is walking into a shitshow where there’s still huge expectation, but there is more upside. As Acro said really. I think it’s great to see an Ange make it to the Prem via the route he has and hit the ground running, he’s clearly a good coach, just at this level he’s not really done what a Poch has, or an Emery or more yet than a Brendan Rogers Still think Chelsea have it in them to make a European push though. United don’t look all that, Spurs are well, Spurs, can Newcastle keep vaulting every new hurdle effortlessly? Not sure I’ll go the sig bet route but I may yet!

The minute didn't matter, Villa were 3-0 down and had been battered so the travelling fans decided to have some fun. Liverpool fans routinely boo the national anthem, so the Villa fans started singing it to annoy them.
