So the £30 million on Gakpo to play him as a striker over Nunez the £90 million striker they didn't need either, in which they could have used that £120 million to fund some midfielders? I don't know how is it NOT Klopp's fault? He also continues to pick the same midfield who loses every game week in week out as well, benching the likes of Henderson and Fabinho, so i think Klopp has stuff to answer for here.

I know you dont know much about how things are being run but Liverpool is not City and Pep has way more say in what players are let go and bought than Klopp. ![]()

How you think Klopp has no say in that club is baffling A quick google backs that up, with an article when he joined saying he had final say on transfers

The forwards being out of form happens, I don't think you can blame Klopp for that. Even Sadio Mane leaving was covered in advance by the Diaz and Jota signings, but then they both got injured. The signing of Gakpo though was not the answer. Diaz, Jota, Nunez, Firmino, Salah, Elliott, Carvalho and Oxlade-Chamberlain had the front 3 covered, even with injuries. I'm not saying Klopp needs to go, but he needs to stop being so pig-headed and accept that his favourites aren't doing the job right now, especially AA. Trent needs dropping ASAP, this is a tough call that simply has to be made. Surely someone in the extended squad other then Milner can deputise at right back, though Milner is still a preferred option to Trent right now. Firmino was in incredible form prior to the world cup and has barely featured since, which is ridiculous. And we urgently need a midfield refresh at the end of the season. EDIT: and Klopp had everything to do with the Nunez transfer. Not as convinced on Gakpo EDIT EDIT: and the other possibility is finally moving AA into the midfield where he belongs

However, back 3's are going out of fashion now with the emphasis on midfield being so strong in this era of football, especially with all the attacking talent they have, would be forced to drop a midfielder/forward player. Would be a short term fix for a long term problem.

Imo the first thing that's needed is to have someone who can and more importantly WILL actually attempt to defend at right back rather than standing where Salah should be and leaving the two centre backs to cover an enormous section of the pitch with a high line. Bring Firmino back in and play him in his usual spot, with Nunez on the left and Salah on the right. This can help get the press back to somewhat normal. Put literally anyone other than Trent at right back, Milner or Gomez or Tsimikas or Kelleher even. Drop Trent or put him in the midfield 3.

Looks like there really is NO competition for Arsenal in this league this year. Liverpool and Chelsea battling for Europa conference league, Newcastle not good enough yet, Man Utd not good enough yet and City are just not even bothering lol
