then Haaland scores everything that gets near the center of the area so it doesnt help. These last couple of mins with 2 goals will mask some of the issues during the game tho.

Their defense is worse off and injuries are not helping, they have injuries all over the place as well which don't help but like u say, Haaland has come in and finished off the chances they make. They always good going forward because of Silva and De Bruyne, now u add in a Haaland and its just nuts, papering over cracks maybe, but for us as neutrals to watch its great lol, 6-3 games xD

City dominated from start to finish. yeah they dominated but if they dont actually get the goals then you dont know what happens. 2nd and 3rd goals were soft when varane wasnt even in the game for the corner and cant run for the 3rd. in all the recent outings against city by united, city have always dominated the games. in the ones that united drew or won, they did that by not conceding and exposing city when they get frustrated. city conceded 3 today despite their domination

How were the games tho? Did they face a lot of top teams already? I've only watched the highlights from this past game and their were generating chances, but that defense :/ Edit: so they lost vs leeds city tottenham and now WHU. I remember the leeds game. They were on top and failing chances and paid for it but it wasn't a bad game per se. This las one as well. Issue might be the ties tho. Or lack of faith they can turn this around.

I've watched 5 or so of their games this season and their entire team have a problem with finishing. They were creating chances, yes, but missing their shots by large margins. When the team is set up as defensively as it is, they have to take these chances. I definitely feel that their forward players are not on the same page as each other either, despite the front 6 being all Portuguese Jorge Mendes clients. A pre-injury Jiminez would be solving a lot of their problems, but unfortunately I doubt he's going to be the same ever again

I don't have any complaints on how things went there, everything went according to the rulebook. But it sure is dramatic when you cancel a goal and reverse it into a penalty in the other end.

And Barcelona can justifiably feel shafted, here. Barcelona got a goal disallowed for a light handball. (Fair enough, I guess, as long as there's consistency.) But then there's a much clearer handball which should have given them a penalty one minute on overtime, and VAR ignores it.

Wow Napoli though, I’ve missed seeing their shellackings of both Liverpool and Ajax live, very impressive score lines and highlights but are Napoli that good or were those teams a bit off colour?

They had a look at the penalty shout in Finnish studio and they struggled to conclude it as a handball from the angles they had. The first intuition definitely was that it's a handball, but you just couldn't conclusively tell because every angle they had was somehow obstructed on the actual contact. If that's all the angles they had in the VAR booth, I can at least somewhat understand why they didn't intervene. It still looks very awkward, but it's probably by the book at that point.
