to be fair he only just got on the pitch so its hard to get adjusted to the pace of the game immediately, but maguire gets turned like that in almost every game he plays.

Usually Real has somehow avoided these situations or brough in a backup who somehow rises to the next level. This time it looks pretty alarming, but we'll see how it goes. I've been seeing doom and gloom in the way they build their team for so long and they always seem to find a way anyway somehow.

I don't think there are any particularly good picks available in the market either unless they somehow convince Zidane or something. They also spewed quite a bit of money into new players to suit the Tuchel plan, I don't think there's going to be any great war chest for the successor. edit: Poch is probably a good shout. Can't think of too many names right now.

I dont think it was Tedescos idea but the rest of the team doesnt perform as they should on paper so it makes sense. Also that Gulasci blunder was hilarious, almost Neuer style!

Yes he worked wonders initially and took home a CL, but they’ve also been on a slide for a while now that doesn’t seem to be being stopped. Depends what the board’s ambition is too. If it’s to keep pace with Man City, well good luck with that. I think Chelsea under Tuchel would have been well capable of top 4, deep cup runs and doing well in Europe, but maybe even that isn’t enough. No harm to Brighton fans but I really would love to see Potter get his shot at the big time
