Honestly that was the only kind of game I envisaged us possibly winning, and we really could have. Just didn’t quite get over the line. Fair play to City, they deserve this trophy for consistently excellent performance. Ultimately I don’t think it’s really a good sign for the health of the game that a club as storied as Inter and not totally lacking in resources being such a gigantic underdog in a showpiece like this. | ||
