Changing Tuchel for Potter is just one of the weirdest decisions I can think of really.

Funnily enough I reckon Spurs would be perfect for him at this stage. As for Leicester, they've just got way too much talent on the team to warrant going down; reminds me of Everton last season.

Getting a bit worried for Kloppo now. Not that he will get sacked but Liverpool needs a fresh breeze and so does he IMO

They have 76 goals in 26 games this Bundesliga season - the highest average of any team in the top 5 leagues. (City 71 with 28 games played in second place.) However, unlike all the other top scoring teams of those leagues, they don't have any single player scoring a big portion of those goals - their top goalscorer has 11 goals. Benzema is RM's top scorer with 14 goals, to be fair - but he's only played 18 games and RM only has 57 goals, so he's scoring a pretty big portion of their goals when he plays. (He also scored a 6 minute hat trick in the previous La Liga game, and a gorgeous set of goals it was too.) Another thing I randomly stumbled over - Barcelona is en route to have the least average goals per games conceded out of any team in a top league for the past like.. 50+ years.

Yay, thanks ![]() I think I've got to the point where I just get a bit more old and grumpy each year though. At some point you kind of start dreading birthdays more and more ![]() --- I haven't seen too many Bayern games (Bundesliga is not in my subscrition unfortunately), but the feel I've got from the results is mostly just complacency of a team that has won some 10 Bundesligas in a row. They seem to lack the grind that'll guard those 1-0 leads or turn threating 0-0 or 1-1 into a solid win somehow. A bit of slack in the midfield and you'll slip through some dangerous attacks and so on. They've brought in some players, but half of them are seasoned and decorated champions in their own respective leagues too. Maybe they could use some hungry young kids there rather than investing on players like Mane and Cancelo.

Well, they do have a few of those talented kids, but they are not often fielded and even then just for the last 10-20 mins, Musiala obviously beeing the exception. They should just be focusing on CL and let someone else win national trophys

In the end you can win this league 10 times in a row because if you look at it from an objective point, the teams there are not top european stuff and too inconsistent to win it. Bayern, even when not playing great, will beat all teams on any day if they really want it. Dortmund (2nd place right now) was no real match.

The money men should not think they are the ones best fit to make sporting decisions is my takeaway from this whole thing.. Also Newcastle and United closing out top 4 seems more and more likely - especially Newcastle. Just looking at the table Tottenham and Brighton are still in the running but I'm not feeling it.
