FFP has never had any meaningful consequences. And you can rest assured, that UEFA won't lock out the club with MBappe, Neymar and Messi out of any competition. The worst case for PSG will probably be something like last time when they have to pay another few million to the UEFA for their sins... And that is money Qatar absolutely does not care about. And if they are not entirely stupid, they will do it like with Neymar, where most the money is coming from some personal sponsorships, which just coincidentally pop up as soon as he starts playing there.

Also, how are Barca going to set up? Is Griezmann going to suddenly hit 25 goals a season Benzema style, is there even room for Coutinho now? Interesting times.

La Liga has a "salary cap" that depends on revenue, this is the only one reason why Messi is not at Barca. RM would have this problem aswell if CR7 stayed there.

That is ridiculous, I don't think any other club in the top 5 leagues reaches even 70% Someone on reddit did a comparison for the season 2019/2020. There are many over 70%. If other leagues had a salary cap similar to La Liga we'd see many of the same problems there. Barca isn't really in danger of bankruptcy as long as the stadiums go open again. If Barca were really in danger of insolvency I doubt Goldman Sachs would refinance 500m of their debt for 3% interest rate if they thought barca is close to insolvency. https://www.reddit.com/r/soccer/comments/ok250r/oc_european_clubs_wage_bills_201920/ http://www.insideworldfootball.com/2021/06/21/barca-gets-greenlight-e500m-goldman-sachs-loan/

True but its "La Liga rules" that Barca cant register him i thought? Some saying its also to do with Barca hierachy wanting to dump this new proposal offered to them too and point to that as reason they let Messi go... PSG are about to announce profit loss of €250 million i believe haven't sold many people either. They were saying before this news broke that PSG had to sell and if they get Messi would have to sell Mbappe/let him go for free in the summer.

Good lord that is a lot of money! Well, lets see if he can score those goals we have been missing! He comes back with unfinished business after we signed him as the "new Drogba" back in the day.
