I don't think there's a coach on the market who will make this current squad play for the La Liga title anyway.

Because everyone who is 19 and can kick a ball will be asking for the moon salary-wise, especially when the club is Barca. Or are we time travelling to some romanticized good old footie world, where all the players were playing for pride and a pack of cigarettes?

sacking koeman is stupid though and would only show barca havent learnt from their mistakes. now isnt the time to bring volatility through more knee jerk decisions

There are enough players who dont demand astronomical wages and would play for barca.. There are enough such players for liverpool and arsenal. Surely barca has even more of a pull

I guess there are more than enough talents who want to play for Barca and if someone or their agents ask for the moon, they can simply say no and go to the next talent. I mean there are 20 spots and 1000s potential players

They must accept that they will be below top tier for a while. Until they stabilize financially. They can always go the Rangers route as well and literally rebuild.

Meanwhile, we had Luuk De Yong as forward last two matches. He was the third forward in priority in Sevilla after En-Nesyri and Rafa Mir... the third Sevilla forward. He is so slow and bad with the ball that compared to him, Braithwaite looks like Messi.

Stories like Leicester City are a rarity for a reason. It's incredibly strange to even think that Barcelona might stop being a top club, but it certainly is looking like a very real possibility right now, especially since the weaker Spanish teams seem to be really stepping it up in the recent years, too.

I never said this would be a title contender squad. It's more along the line what Kloppo did at Liverpool. Build a squad with a 5 year plan in mind and see where Liverpool is now
