Couple of OT games, Lions almost beating Eagles, Bears beating 49ers, Falcons almost beating Saints

And just had a nice OT FG doink in the Bengals Steelers game

Almost missed an "easy" one in OT. I think the regular long snapper is injured. The backup's mistakes mostly caused both misses.

Hi guys, I joined an NFL pool at work and know nothing about football.

It's just a pick the winner for each game each week. 50% goes towards weekly winner, rest goes towards overall winner at end of season. Are there any TL special tactics that could potentially do slightly better than simply picking betting favorite each game?

If you really know nothing about football as you say. Then the only logical plan of action is to always pick the favored team.

I will say you have a certain edge since you hold no biases. Stats will be your best friend.

I'm hoping the Cardinals' game vs the Chiefs was just a one-off and that they'll be better come week 2, but I had serious doubts about the team coming into this season. With Hopkins being out for the first 6 weeks, Cliff's terrible track record in the second half of the season, and the defense being what it is, I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't make the playoffs this year.

With Nebraska naming Mickey Joseph as interim HC, we'll see if he can turn it around for the remainder of the season. Not expecting a win vs OU, but a good game would go far. He's brought in a lot of the WR talent and the kids so far have done an amazing job at that position. QB is still out for debate and RB has been more or less settled. The D needs to get its shit together or it's going to be a very, very long season.
