Personally, I don't agree with a lot of the things he said but none of the things I've seen so far look like they are fireable offenses if he didn't accompany them with slurs. I have 95% confidence that if he said the things without the slurs he'd still be out. James Damore laid out an erudite case in the same lines and he's out. Lets boil down Gruden's takes and ask ourselves if anyone in the NFL or ESPN has publicly made these sort of comments and are still employed and the risk to employment: Roger Goodell is stupid: 1/10. Lots of people say this. Roger Goodell is stupid because he's overly PC: 7/10. No on says this publicly. But, you probably could and keep your job. De Smith is stupid: 4/10 (if ex-player or black) 8/10 if not. Its been said, but only by black ex-players AFAIK in these two companies. Female Refs are less competent: 9.5/10 Never seen this said in public, although many likely believe it. Kaepernick shouldn't have an NFL job because of the kneeling: 9.5/10 I've seen people (not at ESPN) argue he's not worthy of the job regardless, but almost no one publicly states the kneeling itself was antisocial and worthy of being terminated. Michael Sam is bad at football compared to NFL employees: 3/10 Michael Sam was drafted solely because he was gay under pressure from the NFL HQ: 9.999/10 Extreme Spiciness. Never voiced on ESPN or by any NFL employee publicly.

That taunting call was all kinds of Wacky, I get that Avery didn't 'turn away' after the tackle but he literally got headbutted and called for taunting

He also falls to 5-17 in 1 score games Can't do 8 straight games no rest, with 4 being against top 15 teams. There's also Penn St, OSU, and Iowa left on the schedule. They're not going to a bowl game this year.
